Drake’s Lavish Welcome Home Party
Canadian rapper Drake has received a triumphant welcome home after ditching his Australian tour.
38-year-old Dancer of the One Dance hit, had to cancel his forthcoming performances in Australia and New Zealand on his Anita Max Win tour because of scheduling issues.
On Thursday in Toronto, Drake seemed to be basking in the affection during what looked like an extravagant homecoming celebration.
He shared a photo to his Instagram story that featured a very celebratory scene.
The picture displayed a marble kitchen island with a three-level cake, themed around “Anita Max Win,” sitting on it.
The cake was adorned with slot machines and coins too, making it an ideal decoration for someone who enjoys gambling.
There was also a giant charcuterie board with an array of meats, fruits and cheeses.
On the appealing platter, you could clearly see the name ‘Anita Max Won’ written using some sort of cheese.
The scene was also augmented with bouquets of flowers.
On Wednesday morning, Drake terminated the upcoming concerts in Australia and New Zealand for his tour, and departed Australia to fly back to his home country, Canada, using a private aircraft.
Initially, he was scheduled to put on a performance at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on March 4, followed by his return to Sydney for another gig at the Qudos Bank Arena on March 7.
News of the unexpected cancellation was revealed, as it followed Drake’s late-night party at the bustling Brisbane club, The Tax Office, which ended around 4 am, after his performance at the Brisbane Entertainment Center on Tuesday evening.
He arrived at the venue 1.45am after performing a show in the city on Tuesday night.

On that particular night, the nightclub had been reserved for a private event, which was attended by the rapper and approximately 300 to 400 female guests, who had been invited.
The women were seen handing their phones to security at the door upon entering.
After that, he departed for Fiji on his personal aircraft at 6:40 am on a Wednesday morning. Later, he continued his journey to Toronto, making a stopover in Hawaii.
As a die-hard enthusiast, let me share some exciting news I’ve picked up! I’m all fired up about it because it concerns our beloved artist’s upcoming tour in Australia and New Zealand. You know, the one we’ve been eagerly waiting for? Well, Can you believe it? This is just another testament to their commitment to us fans and ensuring we don’t miss out on the magic!
A representative stated that they’re currently making plans to adjust the dates and even include extra performances, according to Daily Mail Australia.
As a devoted follower, I’d like to share some important news regarding the upcoming shows: The tickets for the affected performances will retain their validity for the newly announced dates. However, if you prefer a refund, it’s an option available to you. Just remember, given that these shows are already sold out, any returned tickets will be put back on sale.
I’m truly sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your understanding. Drake, along with the whole crew, has really enjoyed putting on these shows and can’t wait to come back again soon.
‘We look forward to sharing the rescheduled dates with you as soon as possible.’

Fans, who seemed puzzled, voiced their dissatisfaction on social platforms, stating that the rapper should’ve been aware of his upcoming schedule well ahead of time.
‘Why did Drake just cancel the rest of his tour and fly back to Canada?’ one person questioned.
Drake does this every tour, why are y’all surprised?’ another disappointed fan said.
According to Daily Mail Australia, it appears that the decision to terminate the tour might have been made as early as Saturday; however, fans were not informed until several days afterwards.
The Courier Mail claimed Drake was returning to Canada for ‘personal reasons’.
A worker at Drake’s Brisbane concert alleges that there were significant problems during the final performance held on Tuesday evening.
A Reddit user, stating they were employed on the Queensland segment of the Anita Max Win Tour, asserts that Drake’s last performance at the Brisbane Entertainment Center encountered several issues with scheduling.
