Love on the Spectrum fan favorite couple SPLIT after five years over ‘different marriage timelines’

Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman, a popular couple from the reality show Love on the Spectrum, have broken up after almost five years together.

This couple stood out as the most enduring on the show, beginning their romance with a televised first date at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in July 2021.

Just last week, in the fourth season released on Netflix, Romeo, age 27, stated that he and his partner weren’t prepared for marriage.

Okay, so I’ve been digging, and apparently it wasn’t some big dramatic fight! A source is saying they broke up because they just wanted different things at different times – like, one of them was ready for a bigger commitment and the other wasn’t! It’s so sad, but at least it wasn’t a total disaster, you know? Just… mismatched timelines. I’m heartbroken for them, honestly.

According to a source, the couple couldn’t agree on a wedding date. She felt ready to marry much earlier, but he wasn’t quite ready, which ultimately led to their breakup, as confirmed by the US Sun.

A source familiar with Jared Isaacman, 31, confirmed that he and his partner have ended their relationship. The source also noted that Isaacman is doing well. Both individuals are on the autism spectrum.

Viewers quickly fell in love with Romeo and Isaacman because of their genuine connection and how strong and lasting their relationship seemed to be.

The audience was deeply moved when Romeo wrote and sang a song for Isaacman about their connection, playfully referencing her fondness for gummy bears instead of flowers.

She playfully called him ‘the milk to my Chardonnay’ because he always pretends to enjoy wine tastings with her, even though he actually prefers milk.

Romeo started suggesting they might get married as far back as May 2022, during the second season of the show.

In a Buzzfeed interview last year, she shared her dream of marrying Isaacman at the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya.

Last week, when the newest season of Love is Blind was released, Romeo was shown on one episode seeming to minimize her desire to get married.

She explained that she and Isaacman weren’t planning a wedding yet, as they already felt married to each other emotionally.

Romeo explained he didn’t want to rush into marriage, because he didn’t want to end up divorced like his mother. He wanted to take his time and be sure before committing.

However, when Tyler White and Madison Marilla announced their engagement during the show, Romeo jokingly revealed he was hoping for the same thing, saying, ‘Hopefully we’re next!’

Two weeks ago, Romeo publicly complimented Jared Isaacman in an interview with his mother, Christine, for the “We Need to Talk” podcast.

She explained what she appreciated about him: ‘He always knows how to cheer me up, and he’s really thoughtful – like when he protects me from sounds I don’t like by covering my ears.’

She also mentioned they had fun visiting places like the Griffith Observatory, the Los Angeles Zoo, Universal Studios, and Disneyland.
