With complete openness, we found ourselves removing a greater number of tumors than initially anticipated – a total of 4. While this struggle isn’t over, the recent battle appears to have been successfully navigated.

I am deeply grateful for the joy, encouragement, and understanding that my children, family, and dearest friends offer me, a gift whose value can hardly be captured by words.

Teddi underwent emergency surgery earlier this month to remove recently-discovered brain tumors.

In an Instagram post at the time, Teddi disclosed that the tumors were found after she had been experiencing “severe and disabling headaches” for several weeks.

On that particular day, the former Bravo star disclosed that she was scheduled for the removal of two larger tumors. Smaller tumors would be treated with radiation at a future time.

Three years following her announcement about being diagnosed with the deadliest type of skin cancer (stage II melanoma), tumors in Teddi’s brain were detected. Over the course of these years, she has undergone a total of sixteen surgical procedures to excise the melanomas.

Today, we’ll be performing surgeries to remove two of the growths. The smaller ones will be treated with radiation at a future point in time.

I’m incredibly fortunate to have my kids, family, friends, medical professionals like doctors, nurses, and surgeons all working tirelessly to help me recover and regain good health.

Ever since Teddi went through that unexpected operation, I’ve been glued to her social media feeds, catching snippets of updates from her dear ones about her recovery journey.

This past week, Teddi’s former spouse, Edwin Arroyave, announced his intention to pay a visit to her at the hospital along with their children.

Teddi and Edwin have three kids together: Slate who’s twelve, Cruz at ten, and Dove who just turned four. Additionally, Teddi acts as a stepmother toward his daughter Bella, aged fifteen, from a past relationship of Edwin’s.

Following Teddi’s recent emergency surgery, it has been reported by DailyMail.com that for now, Teddi and Edwin’s divorce talks have been temporarily halted.
