Joe Swash Partners with Ex-Girlfriend’s Dad in Shocking New Business!
It appears that Joe Swash has embarked on an unexpected business partnership with his former girlfriend’s father, according to recent reports.
Previously on “EastEnders,” the actor, aged 43, who was in a relationship with his co-star Kara Tointon, 41, from 2008 to 2010, entered into business partnership with her father Ken, now 76.
In September, the company called Big H and Little R Ltd, possibly named after Joe’s sons Harry (aged 17) and Rex (five years old), was established.
Records on Companies House show Ken as a director, although he resigned after one day.
After parting ways with Kara in 2010, Joe expressed regret by calling himself a “fool” and acknowledged that he felt responsible for having “left” her. He also admitted that the experience left him emotionally wounded, tearing him apart.
Despite the current amicable relationship between them, it’s worth noting that Joe’s father Ken has recently aided him in establishing his own business.

As per the records, Ken serves as a semi-retired accountant, having assisted steel magnate Sanjeev Gupta in creating financial reports during times when he was unable to submit his accounts in the United Kingdom.
TopMob has contacted Joe’s representative for comment.
Joe and Kara initially crossed paths while portraying characters Mickey Miller and Dawn Swann, who were presented as siblings on the show “EastEnders” around 2005.
Following Joe’s departure with the soap bar in July 2008, the two continued their connection, and they were on the verge of dating when he embarked for Australia to appear on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, which began in November 2008.
In simpler terms, he who used to be on EastEnders acknowledged that it was foolish of him to let her go during their separation, as he felt responsible for deserting her at a time when she was having trouble finding employment after quitting the soap opera.
He shared with News of the World that he wished to tune in to Strictly to show his support for her, yet he also recognized that it would undoubtedly be painful for him.
After being dismissed from EastEnders after four years as Dawn Swann, Kara openly acknowledged that she had experienced feelings of wanting to end her life.
Joe confessed that he hadn’t realized the depths of her sadness, admitting, “To be honest, I wasn’t aware at all. That shows just how self-centered I was.
I’m the one who caused it to malfunction; I hadn’t realized its value until it disappeared. I used to boast about reaching beyond my capabilities, but I never thought I would take her for granted.
This version maintains the original sentiment while using simpler language and avoiding repetition of the word “it.” The phrase “punching above my weight” has been rephrased to “reaching beyond my capabilities,” which may be more easily understood by some readers.

After several months filled with disagreements, their relationship ended, a conflict that began during the holiday season when they acted together in a panto (pantomime) production over Christmas.
Later, Kara got engaged to chiropractor Marius Jensen and gave birth to their son Frey in November 2018.
Previously united as a couple, they brought another child, named Helly, into their family in January 2021. However, they separated the very next year.
In June 2017, they made their relationship public during the Wimbledon Championships, and they revealed their engagement in March 2018.
In the past, she had a year-long romance with James Alexandrou from EastEnders, and prior to that, she was involved in a long-term relationship with James Bourne, who is known for his work in the band Busted.
In the recent past, I found myself drawn into professional circles for my relationships, but unfortunately, these liaisons didn’t bear fruit. However, only a few weeks ago, I embarked on a new romantic journey with Joe.
‘So maybe it’s time to go out with a guy who does something completely different. A normal job.’
