See James Nesbitt in dramatic new look filming Harlan Coben’s next Netflix series

A fresh, captivating portrayal of actor James Nesbitt in the forthcoming Netflix series Run Away, by Harlan Coben, has just been unveiled.

The upcoming series revolves around a father who experiences a dramatic shift when his daughter elopes, and it’s inspired by a 2019 book penned by the same author.

After a preliminary glance a month ago, fresh images from the filming location have surfaced, and they depict Nesbitt’s character, Simon Greene, with his face smeared in blood.

Additionally, he is observed looking worried towards another character being wheeled on a gurney with an oxygen mask, and in another image, his co-star Minnie Driver also appears.

Among the stars set to appear in this series are Ellie de Lange from “The Serpent,” Ruth Jones who is known for “Gavin & Stacey,” Alfred Enoch, famed for “How to Get Away with Murder,” and Jon Pointing, star of “Big Boys.”

Previously discussing the upcoming series “Run Away,” penned by Danny Brocklehurst, Coben hinted that it explores the concept of family: the extreme measures taken to preserve it, the secrets hidden within its bonds, and those concealed for the sake of the family unit as a whole.

Each time I pass by that house, it feels like another world lies beyond its door, a mystery we fans can’t unravel.

Additionally, he commended Nesbitt for his versatility, stating that he always appeared genuine and true-to-life. He went on to say that Nesbitt is an emotional actor, able to convey his feelings in a way that makes the audience empathize with him as well.

Following the acclaim of Coben’s Netflix series like “Fool Me Once”, “Missing You”, and “Stay Close”, there’s another project on the horizon, an adaptation of his books “Caught” and “I Will Find You”.

Run Away is set to be released on Netflix, with a confirmed date yet to be announced.
