Edge of Memories is a Sequel to RPG Adventure Edge of Eternity Coming in ‘Fall 2025’

Nacon and developer Midgar Studio have unveiled “Edge of Memories,” a follow-up to the 2021 RPG titled “Edge of Eternity.” Originally released on PC, it transitioned to consoles in February 2022. The upcoming game is scheduled for release later this year, featuring an entirely new journey that was created using Unreal Engine 5.

In the realm of Heryon, the game titled Edge of Memories offers an RPG journey that caters equally to veterans and novices. It blends the depth characteristic of Japanese RPGs with a dash of artistic style reminiscent of French animation. Real-time, third-person combat is also integrated, allowing you to execute combos fluidly.

In its creative circle, you’ll find Xenoblade Chronicles X character designer Raita Kazama, NieR writer Sawako Natori, singer Emi Evans from NieR: Automata, as well as composers Yasunori Mitsuda (known for Chrono Trigger and Xenogears), and Mariam Abounnasr who has worked on Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and ONINAKI in the past.

The tale unfolds in the land of Avaris, where a terrifying disease called ‘the Corrosion’ transforms both humans and animals into monstrous beings. Gifted with extraordinary healing powers, the young Soul Whisperer Eline can cure those infected by this plague. Alongside her two allies, Eline will also discover and harness the slumbering power within herself known as Berserk.

The game titled “Edge of Memories” is set to launch during the autumn season of 2025, available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and personal computer platforms.
