‘Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith’ Returns to Theaters for 20th Anniversary

To mark its 20th anniversary, the movie “Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith” is coming back to cinemas for a brief period, allowing enthusiasts another opportunity to witness the climactic finale of the prequel series on the large screen.

2005 saw the release of Revenge of the Sith, a film that remains one of the key chapters in the epic saga of Star Wars. As a fan, I follow the journey of Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker as he tragically succumbs to the dark side. This fateful descent results in the downfall of the noble Jedi Order, the emergence of the powerful Galactic Empire, and the birth of the legendary figure, Darth Vader. With pulse-pounding lightsaber battles, intense conflicts, and emotionally charged betrayals, this movie offers some of the franchise’s most indelible moments.

This reissue showcases brand new poster art created by renowned graphic artist Matt Ferguson. His recent creation, which is his most complex design yet, portrays Darth Vader’s ominous mask looming over Anakin Skywalker as he advances towards his fate. The artwork additionally emphasizes the dramatic battle between Anakin and Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar, set against a fiery Coruscant backdrop, encapsulating the film’s powerful emotions and visual grandeur.

Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith is set to be re-released in selected U.S. cinemas and certain international locations from April 25, running for a week.

REVENGE OF THE SITH will return to theaters on April 25 to celebrate its 20th anniversary!
