It’s Official. It’s Been Awful.

Okay, so it’s happening! Isaiah Rashad is dropping a new album! I first saw hints on his Instagram Stories – a pic of what looked like the album cover, called It’s Been Awful, with the TDE logo on it. Then, TDE’s Punch posted the same phrase on X, and a bunch of other artists from the label did too. Seriously, it felt like a coordinated drop! People even started spotting posters around New York and merch pics popped up online. But then, this morning, Isaiah officially announced it with a cool trailer – It’s Been Awful is a full studio album coming out in less than a month! It’s his first since The House Is Burning back in 2021, and the press release says it’s going to be a really raw and honest return. It’s dropping everywhere on May 1st – I’m already hyped!

Their new track, called “Wata,” was previewed on Kast’s Instagram last week and has now been released with a striking black-and-white music video.
