James Tedesco and Wife Maria Expecting Baby #2: Exciting Family News!
NRL star James Tedesco has announced he is going to become a father for a second time.
On a Tuesday evening, the captain of the Sydney Roosters, aged 32, along with his spouse Maria, announced via Instagram that they are preparing for the addition to their family.
The pair posted an adorable picture of their two-year-old, Rosie, gleefully eating a piece of cake.
Smiling delightedly, Rosie positioned herself before a lovingly crafted, heart-adorned red velvet cake, its surface adorned with fluffy white frosting and bearing the sweet message of ‘baby’.
The couple captioned the sweet image with a simple: ‘Big sis incoming.’
The post was met with a flurry of congratulatory comments from friends and followers.
One supporter, echoing the feelings of many others, enthusiastically exclaimed: ‘She’s so adorable!!! There’s no doubt she’ll be an excellent older sister!! Congrats to everyone!!’
Another added a similar: ‘Going to be the best big sister.’

It comes after James and Maria welcomed daughter Rosie into the world back in September 2023.
The fullback from both New South Wales, Australia proudly declared the wonderful news via an Instagram post, featuring a beautiful picture of their newly-arrived baby.
In a post, James shared: ‘Beautiful baby Rosie Mae Tedesco was born on September 21st, 2023. Both mother and child are content and in good health.’
In January 2023, James and Maria got married, and they shared the news of their upcoming child, Rosie, only three months later, shortly after their wedding ceremony.
Instead of getting married in an ordinary venue, the sweethearts chose to exchange vows in the picturesque Hunter Valley at Redleaf Wollombi, surrounded by a beautiful garden setting for their wedding ceremony.
The overjoyed pair were captured in a video posted on Instagram, sharing a loving kiss during their wedding ceremony.

The guests mingled outdoors, enjoying glasses of Champagne as the newlyweds made their entrance.
In November of 2021, James and Maria made their exciting announcement that they were engaged. To share the joyous news, James posted a picture on Instagram featuring himself and Maria beaming happily while in an embrace.
Maria uploaded comparable photos onto her personal profile using a heart-shaped diamond emoji and wrote: “You bring me endless happiness, both now and in the future.
I’ve been so smitten, always on the lookout for any glimpse into their love story! Though they seldom discuss it openly, they’re frequently featured in my feed – thanks to Maria, who generously shares snapshots of them as a duo on social media.
Approximately a few months prior to their wedding, James invested five million dollars in a spacious property located in Hunters Hill, Sydney. Reports suggest that this is where James and his partner reside.
In June 2022, the captain of both the NSW Blues and Roosters teams, along with his wife Maria, purchased a five-bedroom, five-bathroom house together.
This ultra-modern resort-style property, highly desirable due to its prime North Shore location, was last sold in 2014 for approximately $3.25 million.
