Ryan Reynolds in Crisis Mode: Desperate Moves Amid Blake Lively’s Scandal!
On Tuesday morning, Ryan Reynolds appeared somewhat anxious in New York City, not long after a surprising revelation emerged about him attempting to rally backing.
The actor, 48, kept his sunglasses on as he stepped out solo in the Big Apple.
According to a sensational cover story in The Hollywood Reporter about the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni controversy known as “It Ends With Us,” the publication’s sources assert that, in recent weeks, Ryan has been quite busy attempting to rally significant backing among his influential Hollywood friends.
Following the first article published by The New York Times, Justin, aged 41, found himself without representation from the agency WME, a company that also manages both Ryan and Blake.
The production company Wayfarer, co-founded by Justin and Steve Sarowitz, was similarly terminated by them as well.
Following the surprising reappearance of Blake and Ryan on last weekend’s SNL50: The Anniversary Special, their comeback sparked a powerful response among viewers.
DailyMail.com has reached out to Ryan’s representatives for comment.

At the celebration marking the 50th year of the popular NBC show, Lively and Reynolds were accompanied by several well-known celebrities such as Eddie Murphy, Kristen Wiig, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Bill Murray, Leslie Jones, David Spade, and Jon Lovitz – all former SNL cast members.
Following the finale of the high-profile show, which brought the couple back into the spotlight amidst controversy and legal issues, several social media users expressed criticism towards Blake Lively attending her first red carpet event in two months. Since the scandal with director Justin from It Ends With Us surfaced at the end of last year, she had not made a public appearance.
During the show, Reynolds jokingly referenced his scandal with Baldoni in a comedy sketch featuring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
Reynolds stood up from the audience alongside Lively and said, ‘I have a question.’
In a reference to the tumultuous filming of the blockbuster movie “It Ends with Us,” Ryan Reynolds was questioned, “Hey Ryan Reynolds, what’s up?” To which he jokingly replied, “Things are going great – I suppose you’ve heard something?
On various social platforms, there was a quick response, as numerous users agreed that the influential pair seemed to be leveraging their influence to steer public opinion in their favor, following a series of unfavorable news stories over several months.

One wondered if they truly believe they can make us assume they find everything as a mere jest, while ignoring or being superior to the grim storyline developing about them?
In her court case, Lively asserts that Baldoni orchestrated a defamatory campaign against her, with actions such as re-sharing old interviews of Lively, which many viewers found offensive, leading to an outpouring of unfavorable comments on social media platforms.
In December 2024, Lively claimed that Baldoni had sexually harassed her and initiated a defamation campaign against her.
At the same time, the New York Times released a story based on her legal filing.
Previously, Baldoni retaliated by filing a defamation suit against the publishing house. Furthermore, he recently initiated a $400 million lawsuit against Lively and Reynolds, claiming that they had colluded to tarnish his reputation by making those accusations.
Additionally, he alleged that Lively had taken control during the production of It Ends with Us (a film he directed), and asserted that she made him and his family wait in a basement holding area during the premiere, so she would avoid seeing him.
Baldoni has refuted the accusations made by Lively, whereas Lively and Reynolds have also dismissed his assertions. Additionally, The New York Times has denied the allegations leveled against it.
A trial is scheduled for March 9, 2026.
