The BBC series features Gadd and Jamie Bell portraying brothers Ruben and Niall, who have a strained relationship. Their animosity escalates after an unanticipated encounter at Niall’s wedding. Over nearly four decades, from the 1980s to the present day, the story will explore the ups and downs of their contentious bond.

In Glasgow, where filming is actively ongoing for a six-part series, it’s been officially announced that Gadd and Bell will work alongside Mitchell Robertson and Stuart Campbell. Their roles include portraying the youthful counterparts of Ruben and Niall in the production.
