Bandai Namco has declared that Tekken 8 will introduce Anna Williams as its initial downloadable content (DLC) character, which can be acquired through the Character Year 2 Pass starting from March onwards.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but express my excitement about Anna, Nina Williams’ sister and the ‘Scarlet Lightning,’ who’s making her entrance armed with a rocket launcher! It seems like an unfair advantage, but I can’t wait to see her in action. The news of Anna as the first Character Year 2 Pass DLC fighter for Tekken 8 arrives on the heels of the game surpassing 3 million copies sold, outperforming the sales figure for Tekken 7 at the same stage in its lifespan. Now, Tekken 7 stands tall with 12 million units under its belt.
In the video below, you can witness Anna in full swing. She’ll be joining Tekken 8 starting from March 31st for those who have purchased the Character Year 2 Pass. For everyone else, she’ll be available for individual purchase on April 3rd. Additionally, new stages are being developed as part of Tekken 8’s second year content rollout.
