NRL Star Valentine Holmes Reveals Adorable Name for Newborn Son!
Valentine Holmes and his spouse, Natalia, have announced the arrival of their second child and shared his cute moniker with everyone.
The well-known NRL player, aged 29, along with his fitness instructor spouse, displayed a cherished collection of pictures showcasing them as proud parents in the hospital with their newly born child.
One tender snapshot displayed the proud parents presenting their eldest son, Billy aged 3, to his fresh sibling, while another image portrayed the weary family taking a break in their bed after the delivery.
Additionally, they shared both charming photographs and disclosed their newborn son’s unique rugby-inspired name – Ardie Makianu Holmes – accompanied by the caption: “Our lovely child, Ardie Makianu Holmes. Born on February 25th, 2025.
It seems the name might have been derived from Ardie Savea, a well-known New Zealand Rugby Union player, who happens to be good friends with the couple.
In a heartwarming display, Valentine appeared like an affectionate parent as he gently held his little one in the charming pictures.
‘Congrats guys,’ wrote The Amazing Race Australia presenter Beau Ryan.
‘Congrats fam,’ added NRL player Lachlan Ilias.
In August, Valentine and Natalia announced they were expecting their second child.
Natalia posted a picture showing off her growing belly in a blue swimsuit, marking the first time she’s shown it publicly.
Apart from that, she posted a picture of her ultrasound result along with an email from her physician, revealing the sex of their upcoming baby number two.
Caption: “Natalia excitedly expressed: ‘After nearly 3 years under the rule of a single little lord, we’ve concluded that the ideal improvement would be to have two tiny lords in charge instead.’
‘We can’t wait to welcome another little man into our world. See you soon our little baby.’
Additionally, she recited touching verses from a poem that lauded her husband Valentine for his loving fatherhood.
‘I’d like to share some thoughts about your father. He has a secret I can tell you – there is nothing he wouldn’t do for you. Constantly thinking of you, he works tirelessly for your sake and his family’s, with the hope that you’ll live an extraordinary life.’
A day later, news broke out about fullback Valentine agreeing to sign with the St. Illawarra Dragons for their 2025 season on a three-year contract worth $2.5 million.
On Easter Sunday in 2019, Valentine and Natalia got married, making their promises to each other amidst their closest friends and family at the penthouse of Dalgety Apartments in Townsville.
Natasha’s lawyer dad owns that stylish apartment, often referred to as an ideal sanctuary for guests.
At the wedding, we had the honor of inviting football legends like Johnathan Thurston, formerly of the Dallas Cowboys, as well as Michael Morgan, who is Natalia’s brother-in-law and currently plays for the North Queensland Cowboys.
Since they got married, the pair has continued to grow stronger and stronger. Their son, Billy, was born in November 2021, exactly two years after their wedding.
