Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz Steal the Show in Matching Outfits at London Fashion Week!
On Monday, Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz followed in their parents’ fashion footsteps by wearing coordinating ensembles at the Burberry Winter 2025 show, which took place during London Fashion Week.
As one of David and Victoria’s oldest sons, at the age of 25, I was seen strolling hand-in-hand with my esteemed spouse, a 30-year-old heiress, both of us adorning Burberry’s iconic checkered style.
Brooklyn had a stylish appearance, donning an over-sized zip-up coat and pants similar to cargo style, both coordinated, paired with sleek black boots for footwear.
Instead, Nicola chose a more alluring style, teaming up a pair of comparable loose-fitting drawstring pants with a short black leather coat.
The actress casually left her jacket only halfway fastened, revealing a hint of her well-defined stomach, and accessorized with a textured shoulder bag and high, statuesque shoes.
She pulled her rich, dark-brown tresses away from her visage and finished off her trendy ensemble with an immaculate, perfectly applied makeup.
In my expert opinion, it seems this dynamic duo drew some style inspiration straight from the iconic pair we knew for their twinning ensembles during their golden era in the ’90s and ’00s – yes, I’m referring to Brooklyn’s beloved parents!
At one point, the fashion designer and footballer even had very similar hairstyles.
In October 2021, during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Victoria explained the reason behind her and David’s matching outfits.
Victoria remarked, “It appeared as an excellent suggestion in that moment,” which caused laughter from the spectators in New York City.
She added: ‘It really did. I think there was a naïveté then, we didn’t know about fashion.
To tell you the truth, we were simply enjoying ourselves with it, and I think that’s how things ought to be. If only I could muster up the boldness to do it more often these days.
She mentioned that they were unaware and indifferent, instead focusing on enjoying themselves by coordinating their outfits. She elaborated by saying, “So, we thought, ‘Let’s sport similar leather ensembles…’ And indeed, we went ahead and did just that.
Despite having updated their style, the pair haven’t entirely given up on coordinating outfits yet. They were spotted again in twin outfits, both wearing double denim, during a movie night in 2023.
Brooklyn and Nicola’s trip to the United Kingdom capital for fashion week follows on from the budding cook’s recent revelation about his unexpected change in profession.
Initially, he chose to walk the same path as his father did, and as a budding talent, he spent his youthful years training at Arsenal’s soccer academy.
After that, Brooklyn diversified his career path, taking on roles as a model and social media influencer, which earned him multiple endorsements from various brands. Moreover, he ventured into the realms of photography and culinary arts as well.
Interestingly, it appears that Brooklyn has decided to venture into the world of Formula E, which is an electric car single-seater racing series.
Under a fresh endeavor by the sport, eleven popular figures will face off against one another in an effort to boost the visibility of Formula E.
It’s anticipated that involving public personalities like ex-Man City striker and content creator Sergio Aguero could help attract a younger crowd to the sports world, potentially boosting its popularity.
In this collaboration, Brooklyn boasts a following of 16 million people on Instagram, but Aguero has amassed an impressive 30 million followers.
The electric vehicles can reach 200mph and accelerate 30 per cent quicker than a usual F1 car.
Each influencer involved, including Brooklyn, will be paired with a professional team and driver.
They will then undergo six weeks of training ahead of a race at a circuit in Miami on March 5-6.
Instead, they’ll first practice driving using a simulator, followed by receiving hands-on and professional guidance during actual training sessions.
In an interview with BBC Sport, Brooklyn shared the reasons behind his decision to dive into Formula E.
He mentioned that, just like his father, he has consistently had a strong passion for driving. To him, it’s essential to introduce more individuals to the world of Formula E, as increased exposure leads to a better understanding of this exciting racing series.
Given that Formula One has had a long history, the global landscape is evolving rapidly. In my opinion, Formula E stands a good chance of catching up with Formula One’s standing.
