Cleo’s Fiery Confrontation Leaves Adrian and Awhina’s Families in Chaos!
On Monday night, the visit from friends and family on Married At First Sight turned into a chaotic situation for Awhina Rutene and Adrian Araouzou.
What was meant to be an opportunity for loved ones to offer support quickly descended into chaos.
In a heated encounter, Awhina’s identical sibling, Cleo, challenged Adrian over his behavior towards her sister, escalating the situation to a boiling point for both the couple and their respective families.
The events took a turn for the dramatic as soon as Cleo promptly expressed her worries regarding Adrian, disclosing that Awhina had shared with her feelings of being overlooked and disregarded during their partnership.
‘She’s been telling me some pretty unsettling things about her husband Adrian,’ Cleo shared.
She shares with me that he often belittles her as a means to elevate his own status, and this makes her feel unacknowledged or overlooked. Essentially, she feels like she’s fading into insignificance.

She firmly stated, “You don’t measure up for my sister, and you most definitely don’t qualify to be part of my nephew’s life. Under no circumstances would I allow you to meet him.
Afterward, Adrian expressed his disbelief, revealing to the production team that he believed the entire lunch had been orchestrated intentionally to portray him negatively.
He sighed, saying, “There were three of them, while I was alone.” He added, “From the get-go, they acted aggressively, making me feel like I was under attack.
Meanwhile, Awhina found herself shedding tears, disheartened as her efforts to sustain the relationship seemed to be falling apart right before her.
‘I’ve given up so much to be here,’ she sobbed. ‘And now I’m just mad and pissed off.’
All week long, I couldn’t shake off the palpable tension, knowing full well that Awhina had crumbled into tears during the last Sunday’s episode of Married At First Sight. It still haunts me, as if I were there witnessing it firsthand.
In a turn of events, the bride confronted her partner, Adrian, who abruptly walked away from the project due to feeling overlooked during a photo shoot arrangement that involved publicity.
The 30-year-old woman tearfully expressed her feelings, saying, “It was deeply disheartening. I felt unacknowledged… As I don’t believe this was merely an advertisement.
She stated, “The truth is, I expected you to be here for me, but it seems I’m not a top concern for you.” This implies that she feels neglected due to his absence.
