The popular superhero Spider-Man is returning to cinemas this summer, and fans are already excited! Before the new movie comes out on July 31st, all three of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man movies from the Marvel Cinematic Universe are currently the most-watched films online around the world.
According to FlixPatrol, two Spider-Man movies are currently popular on Disney+: Spider-Man: Homecoming is at No. 6 and Spider-Man: Far From Home is at No. 7 on the list of most-streamed titles worldwide. While Spider-Man: No Way Home isn’t on Disney+ yet, it recently started streaming on Starz, where it debuted at No. 10. No Way Home will be available on Disney+ starting April 15, joining the other two films.
Everyone Is Flocking to Spider-Man Ahead of Brand New Day
Fans are incredibly excited for the new Spider-Man movie, especially after how much everyone loved Spider-Man: No Way Home. That film not only brought together different Spider-Man universes on screen, but also paved the way for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man to begin a story arc more closely inspired by the original comics.
Even before becoming popular on streaming services, the Spider-Man movies have been a huge success. Tom Holland’s three Spider-Man films have earned almost $4 billion worldwide, making it the most profitable franchise in the Marvel Cinematic Universe besides The Avengers. Experts predict the newest film will also be a billion-dollar hit, and could be the biggest box office earner of the summer.

Now that Doctor Strange’s spell has been cast, Peter is focusing all his energy on being Spider-Man and fighting
The new Shang-Chi storyline, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, signals a shift in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s designed to be different from the previous three Spider-Man films and lays the groundwork for a more mature and realistic story for the hero. This new direction will bring Spider-Man closer to the down-to-earth, neighborhood hero that comic book fans know and love, moving away from the high school coming-of-age themes of the earlier films.
Being a Spider-Man fan is great right now! With the upcoming release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day this July, Disney+ and Starz are letting fans revisit Peter Parker’s first stories.
