Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) LATAM Season 3: Teams, Format, Prize pool, and more
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang kicks off the 2025 esports season with a variety of events, including professional leagues in multiple nations. As per the outlined plan, the third season of the MPL LATAM (Latin America Pro League) organized by MOONTON is imminent. This event will be a mix of online and offline competitions, involving eight teams.
Bang Bang (MLBB) multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) community. They’ll all be vying for the honor of being crowned champion. The event also promises a substantial prize money distribution among the competitors.

MPL LATAM Season 3: Schedule and Format
The opening of the event is set for March 15th, 2025, with all participants involved. The event consists of three main segments: First, we have the Regular Season. This initial phase will employ a Swiss system to select the teams advancing to the next round. The second stage is called Relegation. Here, four teams that have lost three games each will compete in this phase using single elimination brackets.
In this tournament, every match will be best-of-five (BO5), and the victors from each match will progress to the subsequent round. The culmination of the event is known as the Playoffs. They are scheduled to start on April 26th. Notably, the hybrid elimination system will apply throughout most matches, except for the Grand Finals which will be a best-of-seven (BO7) contest.

During the playoffs, teams ranked 3rd, 4th, and the bottom two teams fighting relegation will face off in the first round. Meanwhile, the top two seeded teams get a pass to the next round. Here’s how the event unfolds:
* Team 1 vs. Bye (Round 2)
* Team 2 vs. Bye (Round 2)
* Winner of Match between Team 3 and Team 4 vs. Winner of Match between Relegation Team A and Relegation Team B (Round 2)
* Loser of Match between Team 3 and Team 4 vs. Loser of Match between Relegation Team A and Relegation Team B (Round 1, if necessary)

Prize Pool
In the upcoming MPL LATAM Season 3, a substantial reward, known as the “distribution pool”, will be distributed among the competing teams. The teams’ shares will be determined by their final rankings at the conclusion of the event. Here’s the breakdown of the distribution pool:
