At the 56th NAACP Image Awards held on Saturday, both Chloe and Halle Bailey left spectators in awe with their equally stylish ensembles.

At the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Los Angeles, the gifted sisters proudly displayed their stunning fashion choices as they gracefully guided the most elegantly-dressed celebrities down the red carpet.

In a striking display, Halle, aged 24, dazzled in a white and silver outfit, while Chloe, at 26, captivated in a black and golden attire – both looks beautifully contrasting yet harmonious.

In a striking, white ensemble, Halle’s dress showcased a neckline that dipped deeply, adorned with sparkling rhinestones, and a form-fitting, waist-hugging skirt that sat high on her waist.

She completed her look with dark lipliner and a soft pink gloss. 

At the social gathering, the celebrities who were previously nominated for a Grammy made an appearance. This event followed news breaking out about a $15 million copyright lawsuit against Parkwood Entertainment, the record label shared by Chloe and Beyoncé.

In a copyright infringement lawsuit, it was alleged that Chloe had misused or taken advantage of a songwriter’s work in one of her songs.

Melvin Moore brought forth a legal action, alleging copyright violation, false representation, and other charges, against the R&B artist, Parkwood Entertainment, and Columbia Records.

In the legal action he initiated on February 20th, he claimed that Chloe had not given him proper recognition or payment for his work on her “Trouble in Paradise” album, which was released in August 2024.

He claimed that before she shared songs like “Same Lingerie” on her Instagram to more than a quarter-million followers, she deliberately ignored the DMCA Violation and Cease and Desist warning he had sent her.

In simpler terms, this civil lawsuit is seeking both compensatory (actual) damages and statutory damages, potentially up to $150,000 for each intentional violation, as well as punitive damages worth $5 million for every single song.

Moore is a Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer known for collaborating on tracks with artists such as G-Eazy, French Montana, Usher, Ty Dolla Sign, Chris Brown, 2 Chainz, John Legend, Jason Derulo, BTS, Kanye West, Trey Songz, and Drake.
