Kanye West Sparks Outrage with New Anti-Semitic Postings

Recently, Kanye West has ignited worry among his followers yet again by sharing an image featuring the tragic pair, Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen, who met with a fateful end.

In the midst of more hateful comments about Jews on social media, Kanye recently posted a picture on X and Instagram featuring the notorious punk rock couple whose relationship ended tragically – Nancy’s murder in 1978 and Sid’s overdose death in 1979.

The post sparked surprise, not only due to persistent speculation about Kanye’s marital issues with Bianca Censori, but also because of an unsettling aspect in the photo: Sid appeared to be sporting a T-shirt bearing a swastika symbol.

The timing was extremely concerning, as it happened only a day following Kanye’s announcement that he intended to don a shirt bearing a swastika symbol at the upcoming Super Bowl in the next year.

In a similar vein, DailyMail.com’s article revealed that the Sid and Nancy analogy is pertinent as Kanye West’s controversial statements have significantly strained the family dynamics between him and his former spouse, Kim Kardashian, causing tension.

Fans flooded social media with reactions, expressing everything from concern to disappointment.

One user remarked, “Simply watching as this gradual, disintegrating spectacle unfolds,” in response to Kanye’s post. Another user lamented, “Wow, what became of my beloved rapper… this isn’t right at all.

Spungen was found fatally stabbed at New York’s Chelsea Hotel on October 12, 1978.

Her boyfriend, the Sex Pistols’ bassist known as Vicious, was apprehended on charges of murdering her. However, some speculations point towards it being an unsuccessful burglary or a brawl turning fatal instead.

Prior to the court case, Sid unfortunately passed away due to a heroin overdose on February 2, 1979, at the age of 21. At the time, he was out on bail and reportedly celebrated his release by taking a fatal dose of the drug, which authorities claim was provided by his mother.

His demise ignited discussions about suicide, given that certain individuals thought he couldn’t endure life without Nancy. Their tumultuous love affair turned into one of the most notorious tragedies in the realm of punk rock.

In a recent social media post on Thursday, Kanye West, aged 47, referred to the swastika shirt he had been selling online earlier this month and announced that he plans to wear it during his performance at next year’s Super Bowl.

Or in a more conversational tone:

Kanye West, who is 47, mentioned the controversial swastika shirt he sold online recently on his latest social media post Thursday. He declared his intention to perform wearing this shirt at the Super Bowl next year.

In the west, there are four children who share a mother with Kardashian (44 years old). These daughters include North, aged 11, and Chicago, at 7 years, while the sons are Saint, age 9, and Psalm, aged 5.

Following reports from insiders to DailyMail.com last week, it appears that Kim Kardashian and Scott Disick have been experiencing significant disagreements due to Scott’s lack of public denouncement of her ex-husband’s controversial race-related statements through his extensive social media platforms.

According to a source who spoke to Dailymail.com, Disick, who is the father of three children with Kourtney (Kim’s older sister), 45, is extremely upset because Kim has not publicly condemned Kanye West’s offensive and anti-Semitic statements, as Disick himself was brought up Jewish.

According to the source, Disick is deeply upset by Kanye’s actions towards the Jewish community and has grown tired of their relationship as a result.

On Thursday, West openly shared deeper insights about racial issues with his 33.2 million fans, a day following his appearance on “The Kardashians” on Hulu.

West began in saying that ‘we’re taught racism … and then told not to be racist.’

As a proud Chicagoan, I voiced on Twitter my belief that many individuals from the Black community, who hold public platforms, often face limitations in fully expressing themselves. However, I am fortunate enough to have the freedom to speak up, and I exercise this privilege wholeheartedly.

24-time Grammy winner expressed a viewpoint that transcends the current situation, and he highlighted issues within American society that he believes are particularly challenging for the Black community.

West stated, “It’s crucial to recall that these individuals hold jobs. Instead of approaching employees, seek out employers or managers to voice your concerns. I will demonstrate how they cater to their investors, who are essentially the ones funding their businesses.

In simpler terms, the lead singer of Through the Wire stated that Black people generally do not control their own financial resources (the black dollar), and emphasized that without monetary power, one doesn’t hold complete power. However, he suggested that the only way to gain any influence when lacking substantial money is by working together as a unified group.

The artist known as Black Skinhead stated that no one involved in producing a television show or podcast has the power to sway him either to the left or the right.

Insultingly demand that people, particularly those of African descent, spend their time protesting against me or else they’re worthless online trolls. I’d love to take on the might of my massive black cyber-bullies.”

In this rephrased version, the original language has been replaced with more polite and respectful terms that still convey the intended message without using offensive or disrespectful language.

West proudly announced that he had recently earned $17 million and also referred to the release of his critically acclaimed 2007 album “Graduation,” which included popular tracks like ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing,’ ‘Flashing Lights,’ and ‘Stronger.’

Later, West, known for popular songs like 2024’s “Carnival” and 2005’s “Gold Digger,” further explained his previous comments regarding racial and economic issues.

To make things clear, the Bound 2 artist said, ‘I don’t hold any issues against impoverished individuals. However, it’s best for them to stay quiet when wealthy, intelligent people are speaking.’

‘Any comment against me will only leave you more broke and if I listened to you I’d be more broke.’

For many parts of the month, the West has been at the center of heated debates due to an overwhelming stream of tweets promoting anti-Semitic views.

On February 11, the online shop for Kanye West’s Yeezy brand on its website was temporarily shut down by Shopify following the sale of a white shirt bearing a black swastika symbol, which West had promoted through an expensive Super Bowl advertisement.

On Thursday, West expressed his views on the ongoing controversy through a string of tweets, hinting that he plans to don the swastika-emblazoned shirt during his performance at the Super Bowl.

Next year, I’ll be gracing the Super Bowl stage donning my humble tee, I shared. It seems a number of folks have invested in my modest apparel.

He mentioned that Shopify restored his account following its removal of his store during the uproar about the shirts. However, he made clear that he had no intention of utilizing it again.

On February 10, the Anti-Defamation League stated on Twitter that Kanye West’s recent actions provided even more evidence of his antisemitic views. Specifically, they pointed out that he had placed a T-shirt adorned with a swastika symbol up for sale on his website.

Beyond the issue at hand, it has been noted that the T-shirt in question, available on Kanye’s website, is identified as “HH-01.” This seemingly innocuous label is understood to stand for “Heil Hitler.” Over the past week, Kanye has been consistently posting offensive antisemitic content. Such actions are unacceptable and there can be no justification for such behavior.

In my professional opinion, not only did Kanye take advantage of the grand stage that is the Super Bowl, but he also extended his reach far beyond his colossal social media following by promoting his website during the event.

On February 11th, Tal-Or Cohen Montemayor, the leader of CyberWell (an online monitoring group against anti-Semitism), shared with Dailymail.com that they took steps to bypass Kanye West and get his controversial page deleted.

According to Cohen Montemayor, CyberWell contacted Shopify’s departments responsible for compliance and safety to report excessive misuse of Shopify’s services by yeezy.com, which was clearly against the platform’s terms of use.

As a die-hard enthusiast, I can’t help but express my admiration for how quickly and decisively Shopify’s team took action in pulling down the “shop” associated with yeezy.com, following allegations of it peddling offensive, antisemitic content.

Cohen Montemayor commended Shopify for their decision, stating that such leadership and accountability are exactly what one should anticipate from the CEOs of all social media platforms and digital services.

According to Cohen Montemayor, it’s important to take action when individuals misuse a platform or services to spread hate without consequences. In simpler terms, if someone is using the platform in a way that promotes hate speech, they need to be prevented from doing so.

According to Cohen Montemayor, GoDaddy manages the domain for yeezy.com, but the Swastika T-Shirt store is breaking their terms of service. It would be wise for them to take action and relinquish control over the domain, as well.

On Thursday, podcast host Van Lathan, known for his high-tension exchange with Kanye West in the TMZ office back in May 2018, criticized the rapper’s recent tweets, labeling him as ‘the one lagging behind in the Black community’s educational setting.’

Lathan wrote, “It’s great that you’re wealthy, but it appears wealth is your primary concern. Money is quite powerful and offers numerous possibilities. Yours sincerely. It’s crucial for our community as well.

‘People are worth more than money, something I believe we can all agree on. No price tag could ever match the joy of North’s laughter, and I’m certain you’d go bankrupt trying to bring your mother back. I would give anything, even my savings from 2021, for my father, who sadly passed away then.’

Lathan explained to West that he seemed to be confined within a protective sphere usually associated with infants, allowing him the freedom to act impulsively and negligently. This behavior is often overlooked due to feelings of affection.

We understand this situation, so we’ll try to focus on other things for now. However, if the baby starts picking up dangerous items like sharp objects or potentially harmful ideologies such as Nazism or domestic abuse, we’ll have to take steps to childproof our surroundings until they stop crying.

Lathan, who shares hosting duties on the Higher Learning podcast with Rachel Lindsay, went on to say, “You’ve hit the nail on the head. I, like many others, am indeed bound by the rules of capitalism. We all must labor to earn a living.

‘Money can make a person no less enslaved than anyone else. In fact, it’s the opposite – those who prioritize money over dignity are truly enslaved. I, on the other hand, will be a slave to my beliefs and actions, while you can continue to be who you are – someone seen as slower in the Black community. Keep doing what you do, Kanye.’

This version maintains the original message but uses more accessible language and avoids potentially offensive terms like “slow kid” or “boogers.
