Hollywood Reporter Mocks Lively, Reynolds, and Baldoni in Controversial Cover

The current edition of The Hollywood Reporter, featuring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni in a conflict, has faced strong criticism for using humor about the sexual harassment allegations she’s filed against someone.

In my role as a lifestyle expert, I must express my disapproval over the recent magazine cover that depicted an actress, aged 37, seemingly throwing a cellphone at Baldoni, 41, who was clutching a copy of “It Ends with Us.” The swift response from X users was one of criticism, as they perceived this portrayal as inappropriate jesting about the ongoing legal dispute between these two individuals. I firmly believe that such sensitive matters should be approached with tact and respect.

The illustration on the cover drew inspiration from the tale of David and Goliath found in the scriptures, where an ordinary shepherd boy bravely overcame seemingly insurmountable odds against a giant.

Similar to David, Lively employs a slingshot in an attempt to bring down her adversary, who can be spotted a few feet ahead of her, sprinting forward.

One individual expressed their concern by saying, ‘It’s incredibly troubling to see this entire situation being trivialized as a joke. I support Blake Lively, as I trust her account of events… I don’t let opinions that she’s not an ideal victim or whatever unfounded arguments sway me – they hold no relevance. Those who prey on others should be held accountable.’

A different individual stated: ‘Extremely unsuitable. As a media outlet, you carry a significant responsibility, yet repeatedly your content seems to minimize issues like sexual harassment and assault, along with other serious matters.’

There’s a significant issue within your publishing process that allowed such an inappropriate cover to be considered acceptable. It’s truly troubling,” the third person stated firmly.

A fourth person inquired, “Weren’t we discussing the issue of sexual harassment in the office?” or “Aren’t we talking about workplace sexual harassment here?

Others called the cover ‘truly disturbing & a shameful mockery.’
