Michelle Ryan has not aged a day since she quit EastEnders 20 years ago in 2005.

Previously well-known soap opera actress, aged 40, who charmed audiences as Zoe Slater, has been drawing attention with her naturally radiant appearance after sharing an unadorned selfie on Instagram.

In the candid snap, she revealed that she took the selfie straight after she finished a run.

It appears that Michelle prefers to manage her appearance independently, as she shared that she trims her hair herself using instructions from a YouTube video.

Yet, it’s worth noting that she takes her skincare seriously, often praising the £10 Talika Hydrating Mask as an exceptional product and a vital component for achieving radiant skin.

As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but be captivated by Michelle, who graced the fourth spot in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in 2005. What sets her apart is her radiant, makeup-free glow and post-workout selfies that grace her social media feed, showcasing her flawless complexion.

In 2000, at only 16 years old, the actress assumed the well-known part of Kat Slater’s hidden daughter in the drama.

During her time in Albert Square, her character, Zoe had a whirlwind of romances.

She was involved with Dennis Rickman, Dirty Den, she got engaged to Anthony Trueman.

Additionally, she is known for sharing a heartfelt kiss with her closest companion, Kelly Taylor, during a New Year’s Eve celebration in 2003. The two found themselves stranded, which led to an emotional outburst between them.

The kiss sparked criticism at the time, but Brooke Kinsella, who played Kelly, defended the scene.

She said: ‘It’s not a gratuitous ratings getting move, it’s not some kind of big lesbian kiss.

Although there was some debate about it, Michelle openly shared with the Bristol Evening Post that she found playing the character Zoe monotonous, stating, “Repeating the same actions every day. It’s simply tedious. I prefer to switch between various activities.

She told the Daily Record, “The door has been shut,” elaborating, “I’ve viewed EastEnders as a stepping stone. My goal was to explore other opportunities. I have some wonderful friends from that series, but now the chapter has come to a close.

I’ve often chosen to seize opportunities. I believe that’s a key factor for advancement, as it involves venturing into new experiences.

I strongly prefer my independence and the flexibility to switch jobs frequently. What matters most to me is working alongside individuals I deeply respect and admire, regardless of the project’s scale or my specific role within it.

Following the conclusion of the performance, the prominent figure came extremely close to shattering expectations upon securing the main part in the modern adaptation of the beloved 1970s television series The Bionic Woman. Unfortunately, this revamped version met an early end, airing only for a single season.

After that, this renowned British actor has featured in multiple indie movies, such as 4.3.2.1. and Cockneys vs Zombies.

She has also had guest roles in BBC shows Merlin, Doctor Who and Death In Paradise.

In her latest on-screen acting role, she played Lady Charlotte in the movie titled “Frankenstein: Legacy.

Michelle’s acting career has been relatively sparse throughout the years, with her usually appearing in just one production per annum.

However, it seems her supporters are eager for more of her, given their anticipation about her potential comeback before the special EastEnders live broadcast, which was held in celebration of their 40th anniversary.

When Michelle posted an old photo album from her film sets two decades back on Instagram, her followers rushed to comment, speculating that she might come back.

I find it hard to believe that you’re not coming back for the 40th, especially since Jesse hinted at your return. Now it seems like it’s really happening, but you can’t seem to admit it.

I’d be thrilled if Zoe reappears on Eastenders. If that happens, it’d be fantastic to watch her interact with her siblings, Stacey, Jean, and Lily.

The old photo clearly showed that the actress hasn’t changed much over time, as she bore a strong resemblance to her natural photos, featuring her fair, full complexion and thick, dark hair.

On Wednesday, a special hour-long episode was broadcast to mark the anniversary, and then a complete live show took place on Thursday.
