Chris O’Dowd’s Cringeworthy Comeback After THAT Drunken Interview

Fans of Chris O’Dowd are looking forward to this week’s episode of The Graham Norton Show, as his recent promotional appearances have gone viral, generating excitement for his upcoming appearance.

The 45-year-old Irish actor hasn’t been featured on any British talk shows since 2018; his last appearance was as a guest on “The Last Leg.

Before appearing on the live show, Chris overindulged a bit, and although the audience found his tipsy tales amusing, Chris himself admitted afterward that he felt mortified.

In our conversation, Chris jumped around discussing different subjects, moving from talking about Kanye West to trolls and even mentioning that his dog had marked a Banksy artwork.

Straight away, he became a popular topic on X/Twitter, prompting one admirer to inquire the following day: “I’m just wondering, how did you manage to be so messed up on TV? I’m not criticizing, I’m genuinely curious. You were fantastic and I believe it happens to even the most talented individuals.

Chris said: ‘To be honest, I’m unsure. I didn’t seem to have consumed much alcohol, yet I left the gym and headed straight to the studio without having dinner. In hindsight, it was probably a bad idea.’

After appearing in “The Bridesmaid,” the actress playfully posted a link to a video of a non-alcoholic “cheese tea,” joking, “I might have overindulged in a few of these the previous night.

He also mentioned, with a touch of embarrassment, “To set the record straight, I must admit, it was a somewhat tipsy comedian appearing on a late-night talk show on Channel 4.

‘I wasn’t doing meth on BBC breakfast. But thanks for your concern, genuinely.’

Adam Hills, the host of “The Last Leg,” found humor in a situation and posted a screenshot on social media. It appeared that someone had edited Chris’ Wikipedia entry to designate him as an advocate for alcohol awareness.

On The Graham Norton Show, Chris likely held back a bit, considering that Graham typically offers drinks to his guests. However, Chris might have been cautious about it.

In a 2013 episode, he had Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig as his guests, seated comfortably on the well-known red couch.

During the interview, the three of them appeared cheerful, yet they grew annoyed due to an irritating fly that persistently hovered nearby.

In a comical turn of events, Chris found himself sipping water unknowingly containing a fly. Upon noticing this unwelcome guest, he was forced to remove it from his mouth.

In response to Chris’s exclamation, ‘Oh my God!’, Graham queried, ‘Did you accidentally swallow a fly? Is it still moving in your hand?’

Kristen and Steve appeared fidgety and amused when Chris confessed, “To be honest, I had a bite and discovered that there was no ice in it.

It seems his appearance this time round wasn’t as stressful. 

Nevertheless, he shared a mortifying memory about Beyoncé that left Ewan McGregor, Kate Hudson, and Naomie Harris squirming with discomfort among the other guests.

In his admission, he shared that they both appeared in the same animated movie. At the screening’s event, upon meeting her, she complimented him on having an exceptional voice. To which he responded, “You also have an amazing voice, Beyoncé!” However, since then, their contact has been lost.
