Nobody Wants This casts star’s real-life spouse to appear in season 2

It looks like Netflix could be unveiling a thrilling, real-life blend of characters for season 2 of the show “Nobody Wants This“.

Amplifying the excitement for the upcoming part, the live-streamer disclosed that Leighton Meester, who is wedded to Adam Brody from the show “The O.C.”, will be appearing as a guest character.

Not only are viewers looking forward to seeing Noah and Joanne again, portrayed by Kristen Bell, but now we know that Meester is set to play Abby, Joanne’s old rival from middle school.

As per a tweet from Netflix’s account, these former friends-turned-rivals may encounter each other again after several years have passed. However, it remains uncertain if they will manage to put their differences aside in this new encounter.

Apart from her being an Instagram mom influencer, there isn’t much more information available about Abby. However, it seems plausible that she might have some disagreements with Joanne, given their relationship dynamics.

Master’s appearance on “Nobody Wants This,” collaborating particularly with Bell, sets the stage for a delightful reunion reminiscent of “Gossip Girl.

More recently, Meester has been recognized for her role as Meredith in the short-lived series “How I Met Your Father,” but she is best known for her portrayal of Blair Waldorf over six seasons on “Gossip Girl.” Meanwhile, Bell gained fame by voicing the sharp-tongued narrator in a well-known series.

Additionally, you’ll find Meester appearing in the comedy series “Good Cop/Bad Cop” on The CW. Following this, she will be featured in season 2 of the historical drama “The Buccaneers,” streaming on Apple TV+.

Debuted the previous year, “Nobody Wants This” unfolds an unconventional romance between Joanne, a sex-positive, agnostic podcast host, and Noah, affectionately known as ‘the hot rabbi’. While their families express strong reservations about their relationship.
