Ugly Betty actor Eric Mabius was arrested for battery in Florida on Thursday morning.
53-year-old Mabius was taken into custody at the Nassau County Jail and Detention Center around 6 am. He is accused of two misdemeanors: battery and resisting an officer, albeit without using violence, as reported by TMZ.
A shock mugshot showed the star looking dazed with what appeared to be a cut by his right eye.
Mabius gained prominence for portraying Daniel Meade, the Mode fashion editor, opposite America Ferrera in Ugly Betty. This series aired from 2006 until 2010.
Apart from that, he’s been featured on “The L Word,” as well as movies like “Resident Evil,” “Cruel Intentions,” and “The Crow: City of Angels.
