Fans are squirming following Mindy Kaling’s disclosure that Meghan Markle shared unconventional tips on organizing children’s gatherings.

Actress from “The Office,” aged 45, featured on Meghan Markle’s forthcoming Netflix series “With Love,” enthused about Meghan’s ability to plan wonderful kids’ parties during an interview with Time magazine.

She mentioned that there seems to be a common misunderstanding about Meghan, suggesting she’s demanding or prefers extravagance. In reality, though, Meghan is a simple, earthy individual with many practical ideas for simplifying hosting and cooking.

Kaling revealed that they first crossed paths when she was taking a break after having her third baby, and Markle reached out inviting her over for dinner at the Montecito home she and Prince Harry co-own, to discuss Kaling’s upcoming TV series.

Inquired whether she learned any hosting tricks, Kaling replied: ‘Surprise! I did. The event was centered around organizing a kids’ party. I enjoy cooking, but I struggle with entertaining guests. I’m clueless about the rule of avoiding bright overhead lighting when people visit. Instead, you should use soft lamps.’

Instead of relying on store-bought supplies for kids’ parties, Meghan skillfully crafts her own decorations. We both appreciate store-purchased items without any judgment, but it was delightful to discover easy DIY methods for hosting a homemade children’s party.

I’d like to share a heartwarming tale: The remarkable Meghan, a mother of two, graced me with a thoughtful gesture – a basket brimming with fresh produce and her homemade jam and hot sauce. Knowing my ardor for the fiery condiment, she made sure I was well taken care of. Indeed, she is an exceptionally generous soul who sensed I needed a respite.

The hosting suggestion was criticized by fans as being “elitist,” with Royal News Network initiating the conversation: “Indeed, that recommendation is applicable if you possess a $15 million mansion! However, for the ordinary individual, such advice wouldn’t be feasible. Goodness gracious, it feels so detached from reality!! If you prefer to strategically position lamps throughout your home instead of simply flipping the light switch, do let me know.

A flurry of comments ensued, with one person saying: ‘Completely oblivious! Don’t they realize how absurd and preposterous that comes off? Can’t you utilize ceiling lights instead? I need to observe the children. Some claim Meghan Markle lacks any maternal instinct.’

‘What type of gathering is it where the young boys are dressed up in smoking jackets and the girls in pearls, eating appetizers?’

It seems unreasonable to expect the typical individual with standard earnings to purchase multiple lamps and subsequently figure out where to keep them all.

At my child’s birthdays, I’ve never used lamps because the parties have always been held during the day and my home has plenty of natural light through windows. If we ever needed extra illumination, we simply switched on the regular lights. It’s hard to believe that using lamps is suggested for children’s birthday parties. It’s not like it’s a candlelit dinner for two.

In my case, I simply let go of a handful of balloons and put up a sign at home. However, I’m left puzzled as to where these additional two elements appeared from. If this suggestion is intended for the wealthy and influential, they should gather in their grand mansions to discuss this matter.

‘Totally contradicting herself. It’s completely pretentious!

‘You’re not supposed to use overhead lighting? You’re supposed to use little lamps? Is this a joke?

It wouldn’t be appropriate to use such formal and sophisticated elements when planning a party for children under eight if you want them to enjoy themselves. Children usually prefer to play, run around, and make noise rather than sitting quietly at a table with strict rules about movement. I can’t believe she would arrange her own daughter’s party in that manner!

Markle has achieved a significant personal achievement as she’s now rebranded her lifestyle endeavor, initially known as American Riveria Orchard, into something new called As Ever.

As of February 20, the Duchess of Sussex, who is 43 years old, has amassed two million followers on her personal Instagram account, following her recent disclosure on Monday.

Markle excitedly presents As Ever – a brand that she has personally developed and put all her love into,” reads the caption of her Instagram post, which features a video introduction.

Additionally, she mentioned that the launch would align with the debut of her upcoming cooking series on Netflix, set to air on March 4th.
