Charlotte Dawson looked stunning in a low-cut pink dress while showing affection for her fiancé, Matt Sarsfield, at the Aintree Grand National Festival in Liverpool on Thursday.

The 33-year-old TV star looked amazing in her outfit at the event, sharing a kiss with her partner as they arrived at Aintree Racecourse.

She wore a stunning outfit with a low, curved neckline, a fitted, structured top, and a long, flowing skirt that had a high slit.

Continuing with the pale pink color scheme, Charlotte wore pink high heels and carried a small, matching Hermès bag.

To complete her look, Charlotte wore a pink fascinator and accessorised with gold-toned jewellery. 

Charlotte’s fiancé, 34-year-old Matt, looked sharp in a grey suit as the couple shared an affectionate moment.

The Grand National is famous for its bold and stylish outfits, and attendees on the first day of the event certainly lived up to that reputation.

Excited racegoers began arriving at the Merseyside course starting at 11am today, many wearing stylish outfits including short dresses and decorative hats.

Cheltenham racegoers are known for their classic country style, but Aintree is much more daring. Today’s fashion definitely proved that point, with many attendees choosing short dresses and low-cut gowns.

Everyone was definitely making a statement with outfits that showed off their figures – think bodycon dresses, sheer fabrics, and lots of beautiful lace. It was all about feeling confident and having fun with a little skin showing!

The Grand National festival, a three-day event featuring the famous Grand National race on Saturday, has a more laid-back dress code than Royal Ascot. While Ascot has strict rules, the festival simply encourages attendees to ‘dress to feel your best’.

Fancy dress for revellers is also allowed, as long as the costume isn’t offensive or derogatory.

Yellow was a popular color at the races today, with many attendees wearing bright, summery dresses – often with stylish off-the-shoulder or halterneck designs.

A woman at the event caught everyone’s attention with a striking black maxi dress featuring a high slit and a low-cut neckline.

I spotted a woman at the races who looked absolutely stunning! She was wearing a crisp white mini dress with these really dramatic, eye-catching sleeves, and she was definitely working it for the cameras. She just owned the day with her look!

The party is sure to attract celebrities, as people like Coleen Rooney and Helen Flanagan often come to the annual event.

This year’s festival runs from Thursday, April 9th, to Saturday, April 11th. It’s a major sporting event, drawing approximately 150,000 attendees to Aintree annually.

It is also broadcast live to a television audience of around 800 million people worldwide.

As a lifestyle expert, I can tell you the Grand National is truly special. It’s often called ‘The People’s Race,’ and for good reason! It just captures the nation’s attention like no other horse race – everyone seems to get involved, and it’s a real cultural moment.

Home to the world’s greatest steeplechase, the race is run over around 4 miles, 2 1/2 furlongs.

The race features 30 fences and covers two laps, making it the longest horse race in Britain. It was once even longer, stretching about one and a half furlongs further.

The race was made a little shorter to move the starting point further from the grandstands. This change was made to reduce the chance of false starts and give jockeys and horses more time to safely approach the first jump.

I Am Maximus is the favorite among a large group of 34 horses competing in Saturday’s Randox Grand National, hoping to repeat the success of the legendary Red Rum.

No horse has ever won the Grand National, lost the championship, and then won it again, a feat last accomplished by Ginger McCain’s legendary horse.

Red Rum was a dominant force in the 1970s, winning the race in both 1973 and 1974. After finishing as runner-up in 1975 and 1976, he achieved a remarkable third victory in 1977, thrilling the crowds.

I Am Maximus, trained by Willie Mullins, won this race two years ago with jockey Paul Townend. Last year, he finished second to another horse from the same stable, Nick Rockett, while trying to become the first horse since Tiger Roll to win the race twice. He’ll be wearing cheekpieces for only the second time, having first worn them in December 2022.

In addition to the previous two winners, trainer Mullins also enters Grangeclare West, who finished third last year. Patrick Mullins, who won last year’s race on Nick Rockett, will ride Grangeclare West this time, having been replaced as jockey on the Bobbyjo Chase winner. Meanwhile, Tom Bellamy gets a fantastic opportunity to ride the current champion.
