Chappell Roan Sparks Tour Rumors: Is Australia Next on Her Agenda?

Is it plausible that the whispers about pop sensation Chappell Roan potentially performing in Australia hold any truth?

27-year-old artist who gained fame with The Pink Pony Club, enjoyed a prosperous musical year, receiving the Best New Artist award at the 2025 Grammys in February and leading both the Billboard and Triple J charts in 2024.

Currently, with the announcement of her latest single “The Giver” from her upcoming record, fans Down Under are eagerly awaiting news about when they can catch this fresh music live on an Australian stage.

Chappell performed her final tour in Australia during November 2023, prior to her rise to fame, performing the chart-leading songs from her 2023 album ‘The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess’ in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.

On TikTok, fans who had attended the tour claimed that the pop star hinted at a possible reunion by saying, “I’ll see you next year”, causing dismay among them as the new year arrived without any news about a Chappell Roan tour in 2025.

Lately, Chappell has expressed fondness for Australia during the MTV VMAs red carpet in September, even suggesting a possible Australian tour might be upcoming.

When the NOVA radio host Smallzy inquired about her intentions to travel to Australia, she responded affirmatively: “Absolutely, dear. I plan to go and will indeed be there.

Although an official tour in Australia hasn’t been confirmed, astute fans have spotted potential openings in the artist’s tour schedule that may indicate a trip to the Southern Hemisphere is possible this year.

The lead singer is set to perform at the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona during June, and also several concerts throughout Europe in August. Yet, no additional performances for 2025 have been revealed so far.

Several weeks back, Chappell garnered admiration from fans due to her powerful speech during the acceptance ceremony of the Best New Artist award at the 2025 Grammy Awards.

In a casual, yet impactful manner, the popular song creator urged record labels to enhance artist care, specifically suggesting they cover health expenses and provide fair wages, which garnered an outpouring of applause from admirers across various social media platforms.

Standing proudly on stage to receive my accolade, I started by expressing my gratitude towards my family, dear friends, and my dedicated management team. I then shared the challenges I encountered when my initial record label let me go at a tender age – obstacles that ultimately fueled my determination to rise above them.

She openly acknowledged that she experienced a sense of being treated inhumane after her initial record company handling, and urged labels to enhance the well-being of their artists by providing fair compensation, including health benefits.

She expressed: “If I were fortunate enough to win a Grammy and have the opportunity to address the influential figures in the music industry, I would use the moment to call for record labels, who earn vast sums from artists, to provide a fair wage and healthcare – particularly for emerging artists.

If my employer had considered it more important, I might have received care for the company I was dedicating all my efforts to.

Since I was signed to a contract at such a tender age, I was classified as a minor during the signing. Upon being let go, I lacked any professional experience in my field. Like many others, I experienced significant challenges when searching for employment amidst the pandemic and could not afford health insurance.

It was deeply disheartening to pour so much passion into my art, only to experience betrayal from the system and a sense of being treated inhumanely.

Labels should regard their artists as essential team members, offering them fair compensation, living wages, health benefits, and necessary protection.

In wrapping up my discourse, I posed this question to the captivated audience at the Crypto.com Arena: “Are we defining you with labels, or are you embracing and empowering us?” This query sparked a thunderous applause.
