A.P.C. Joins Brain Dead to Celebrate 10th Anniversary With Raw Denim Capsule

To mark Brain Dead‘s 10-year milestone, A.P.C. has joined forces once more with this LA-rooted label, producing a collection of premium essentials that emphasize A.P.C.’s iconic raw denim style.

Leading their collection, Brain Dead’s 00 Trucker Jacket and 00 Denim Pants prominently display co-branded leather badges at the back and are crafted from raw selvedge denim. Drawing inspiration from traditional American workwear, the jacket showcases a mix of silver and bronze accents with red selvedge highlights, while the trousers are known for their loose-fitting style and high waistline.

To complement the robust indigo ensemble, a rough denim bucket hat and tote bag are included, along with a logo fusion of Brain Dead’s symbol and A.P.C.’s bubble font. Finishing off the collection, a plain white t-shirt and an oversized heather gray hoodie with a boxy fit showcase the co-branded emblem in different sizes.

Despite seeming unusual, these two brands have been launching joint products since 2019. Brain Dead made its debut on A.P.C.’s Fall-Winter 2019 runway showcasing jackets, vests, and hoodies adorned with retro-futuristic designs. In 2021, they teamed up again for the “Unity” tote bag, a collaboration that raised funds for the Luminous Sound Fund, an initiative aimed at helping groups who promote equal opportunities in music education and resources.

Given their reunion in 2022 to mark A.P.C.’s 35th anniversary, it’s fitting that these two brands have collaborated once more, this time celebrating Brain Dead’s ten years in the industry.

On February 25th, at 10 am Pacific Time, the new A.P.C. collection will be made available for purchase on both the Brain Dead online store and physical outlets, as well as on the A.P.C. website and selected retailers.
