The instance transpired immediately following the verdict that declared Rocky innocent on all charges related to his felony shooting trial.

If convicted, the father-of-two was facing a potential 24-year prison sentence.

On Tuesday night, Rihanna broke her silence as she celebrated the verdict by praising God. 

She expressed on her Instagram story that all the honor and praise is due to God, and that she feels grateful and humbled by His kindness.

Her emotional post came after an equally emotional moment in the courtroom. 

When the decision was announced, Rihanna, who has two kids with Rocky, found herself shedding tears, as he rushed towards her for a hug.

In the meantime, Joe Tacopina, the lawyer, disclosed that despite the rapper’s desire to protect Rihanna from the court proceedings, she was unable to stay away, much like how wild horses cannot be held back.

Prosecutors in the case said that the entertainer shot twice at his former pal A$AP Relli.

In the court case, A$AP Relli, who goes way back with A$AP Rocky to their high school days as part of the musical group A$AP Mob, stated that he did not sustain any serious injuries in the shooting incident, except for a bullet lightly brushing his knuckle.

According to A$AP Rocky’s lawyers, the bullets that the rapper discharged came from a fake gun used for his music video production. The Associated Press shared this information.

The court informed the jury that, according to the law, it would be impossible for A$AP Rocky to be declared guilty if they determined he was acting in self-defense during the event.

The Barbadian music sensation and clothing entrepreneur frequently grabbed headlines while attending events supporting her partner, who is the father of their two kids – RZA (age 2) and Riot Rose (age 1).

In simpler terms, during the final part of the court proceedings, Deputy District Attorney John Lewin asked the jury to ignore the involvement or presence of Rihanna in relation to the ongoing trial.

Lewin stated his belief that the singer from SOS intentionally brought her children to the court hearings with the hope of influencing the jury’s decision in favor of a ‘not guilty’ verdict.

Lewin informed the jurors, “You should not ponder over potential impacts on Rihanna or her children. Each person is accountable for their individual actions within society.

Following the decision, Tacopina expressed outside the courtroom that “Rocky expressly didn’t desire her presence, let me make that clear.

In simpler terms, Lewin advised jurors, ‘Please don’t think about potential impacts on Rihanna or his children – each person is accountable for their own actions within society.’

Defense attorney Tacopina countered the claim, stating that A$AP Rocky had no intention of having her present with him in that location initially.

According to Tacopina, A$AP Rocky aimed to protect Rihanna from the emotionally taxing court hearings. To further illustrate this, he used a phrase often associated with strong determination: even if wild horses were trying to prevent her, they wouldn’t be able to keep her away.

A$AP Rocky was over 30 minutes past due for the verdict announcement, appearing visibly nervous and anxious while waiting for it, according to Associated Press reports.

According to his lawyer Tacopina, there was a brief instance where it wasn’t clear whether he would be facing two decades behind bars or returning home, prior to hearing the words from the clerk.

Tacopina commented that A$AP Rocky’s enthusiastic response to the verdict, which included jumping for joy upon learning he had been found not guilty, was remarkably exciting in a fantastic manner.

Hochman emphasized that our goal is unwavering: maintaining the law, securing public safety, and delivering justice to everyone.

A$AP Rocky is keeping himself occupied professionally after the resolution of his case, with hits like Highjacked, Taylar Swift (presumably a typo for Taylor Swift), and Ruby Rosary under his belt.

In a month from now, he’ll be performing at the Rolling Loud music festival held in Los Angeles. He’s among the main acts, sharing the spotlight with Playboi Carti and Peso Pluma.

In May, it is planned that he will serve as a famous co-host at the Met Gala, an event where Rihanna has created numerous unforgettable scenes before.
