Tom disclosed details on his upcoming album: “I’ve been in the U.S composing this new record, and it’s been truly remarkable. We delved deep into personal topics. The album represents my battles with various aspects of life, such as alcohol and drug addiction. I’ve bared my soul about my experiences, from my childhood to the present, including family and relationships.
In June, Tom admitted he found himself in a ‘sinking hole’ as he opened up about his mental health.
The songwriter, honest about his challenges throughout, shared the story behind him composing music as a means to articulate his emotions.

Tom shared with radio host Roman Kemp about his experience with YoungMinds, explaining, “I was suddenly thrown into a deep pit, feeling like I was drowning.
I found it impossible to rise from bed; it seemed like the entire universe was working against me. I harbored doubts about my worthiness, a sentiment I’d always kept hidden, even from friends, let alone my parents.
‘So then I started to just write little notes in a notepad and then picked up a guitar.’
