This came just days before DailyMail.com revealed an extended affair she had been involved with, her German-born equestrian trainer, Simon Schröeder.

Arroyave was captured on camera, standing by Mellencamp’s bedside, alongside his wife, just hours before she went into surgery to have two tumors removed last Wednesday.

In one image, Mellencamp was pictured, sporting gadgets on her brow, clinging to Arroyave’s neck as he leaned over her hospital bed.

He posted an image on Instagram, accompanying it with a quote from Jeremiah 17:14 and a message: “Dear Lord, I present @teddimellencamp to You. You are the Mighty Healer; may Your healing grace be bestowed upon her physically.

Revitalize her energy, rejuvenate her soul, and make her acutely aware of your soothing proximity. Bestow upon her tranquility, optimism, and a swift return to wellness. Through Jesus, let it be so, Amen.

Additionally, the well-known TV personality of Colombian origin also posted a brief video on his Instagram stories. This video showed their youngest child, Dove, inquiring about whether daddy would remain at the hospital.

He confirmed, “Yes, that’s my bed. That’s where I rest.” However, as he spoke, the camera shifted to reveal him seated on a couch near his wife’s bed.

On Monday evening, he expressed gratitude for the ongoing prayers and goodwill messages as he shared some news about his health status with his fans.

Teddi expressed heartfelt thanks for the abundance of affection as she journeys towards recovery, he penned down, followed by posting a photo of him traveling with Slate and Cruz on their way to see their mother.

The source added that they ‘currently have no plans to get back together romanitcally.’ 

Last week, John Mellencamp’s daughter was urgently admitted to the hospital due to persistent, agonizing headaches she had been experiencing for several weeks. The intensity of her pain had become almost unbearable.

She mentioned before her surgery that scans like a CT scan and MRI had revealed numerous brain tumors, which doctors estimated to have grown over a period of at least six months.

Today, we’ll be performing surgeries to remove two of the growths. The smaller ones will be treated with radiation therapy at a future time.

She then shared a clip of herself dressed in a hospital gown as a friend shaved her head.

‘I’m going to have this look on my bucket list!’ she joked. ‘My best look!’

Her latest surgery comes two years after she was diagnosed with stage two melanoma.

In December 2023, she had a photo posted showing the significant, wavy scar running along her back and shoulder, resulting from a surgery to eliminate the potentially fatal form of skin cancer that claims around 10,000 lives annually.

It is not clear if her brain tumors are related.

It seems that John Mellencamp’s serious health issue has led to a reconciliation in his marriage with Arroyave, just three months after they were embroiled in a heated divorce dispute.

On November 1, the celebrity known for reality TV shows shared on Instagram that they were separating. Just a few hours earlier, she had filed for divorce. In the following days, they found themselves in disagreements regarding alimony and child custody matters.

Later on, DailyMail.com disclosed that she had been involved in a secret relationship with a married man named Schröeder. This alleged affair is believed to have played a significant role in their separation following years of marital issues, including therapy sessions and accusations of infidelity.

Previously this month, it was suggested that unfaithfulness had already dismantled their bond, far earlier than when she herself became unfaithful.

She shared on The Skinny Confidential podcast that she and Edwin spent incredible years and moments together, and when they first encountered each other, it was intense and everything one could ask for. However, eventually someone else came into the picture.

Initially, I might say something like, “I would respond with, ‘No worries, I’ll figure it out, I’ll show him my worth even more!’ But then life happens, and children come along.

At the moment when Edwin seemed prepared to embark on it and make a real transformation, that’s likely when I stepped back.
