It’s not surprising that he’s planning to attempt building his own music career, considering he will be auditioning for the upcoming season of American Idol.
Earlier this month, the performer shared some exciting personal updates on Instagram, and he’s now gearing up to win over judges Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, and Carrie Underwood when the popular talent competition makes its comeback on our TV screens on March 9th.
His dad became well-known as a member of a five-piece American vocal group that originated in Orlando, Florida, all the way back in 1993.
Over time, this musical collective ascended to global fame, selling more than 130 million albums globally, largely due to popular tracks like “Larger Than Life” and “Quit Playing Games.

It’s Backstreet Boys star Brian Littrell’s son Baylee!
In simpler terms, the 22-year-old sensation in country music is an only child born to the singer known for “I Want It That Way” and his spouse, the actress Leighanne Littrell.
Lately, Brian expressed his joy about his son’s forthcoming screen audition, mentioning that he’s been putting in a lot of hard work.
In conversation today, Brian shared that his son is learning firsthand about the demands of breaking into the music business, even though he spent his childhood traveling with his dad.
He mentioned that he had texted him the previous night, saying something like, “Hey Dad, man, I’m finding this quite challenging. It’s tough work.
“He’s working incredibly hard, and I couldn’t be more proud. It seems like he has a fresh perspective on the true nature of this situation.” (Alternatively, “He’s putting in a lot of effort, and I’m extremely proud. He appears to have gained a new understanding of what this is really about.”)
A few weeks ago, Baylee announced his participation in season 23 of American Idol, sharing on social media: ‘Folks, I’ve just had a chance to audition for @americanidol! Don’t miss the season debut on March 9th and find out how things turn out for me!’
In a comment, Brian expressed his eagerness for his son’s upcoming event and conveyed his confidence by saying: “Bubba, I can hardly wait! Keep up the good work – we’ve got faith in you, laughs!
While supportive mum Leighanne added: ‘This. Yes bubba.’
Initially, Baylee embarked on his musical journey as a child prodigy, first gaining experience in musical theater. Later, he expanded his repertoire to include country music.
He even began opening for Backstreet Boys shows, performing two songs for tghe band.
In 2019, Baylee released his debut album 770-Country on his parents record label BriLeigh records.
That same year, he was chosen to kick off the North American segment of the Backstreet Boys’ DNA World Tour.
Baylee previously opened up about growing up on the road amid the band’s huge fame.
He shared with everyone that he has essentially spent most of his life traveling, as far back as he can recall. Thus, his initial sleeping quarters were a bunk on a tour bus. In essence, his earliest recollections involve being on the road and being in foreign lands.
The singer went on to list some of the amazing experiences he had as the son of the huge pop star.
He shared: “I first introduced my father when I was five years old, and by the time I turned ten, I had begun performing for them. I’d sing a couple of songs before the main act would appear to perform their set. This evolved into a 42-show tour with them in 2019, where I served as the official opening act. It was an unforgettable experience.
Meanwhile, Baylee remembered the time when his father had envisioned a prosperous career for him, which later materialized, bringing about immense pride in his father, as Baylee continued on his professional journey.
He mentioned: ‘I must have been around 6 or 7 years old when I used to sneak into the wardrobe closet before shows and wear their clothes. I recall standing in front of a mirror wearing my father’s stage outfit and asking, “Can I join the group?” My father placed his hands on my shoulders and said, “Soon. Someday, you’ll get your chance.”‘
