Watch Julia Garner’s horror reboot Wolf Man at home today
I’m thrilled to share that the chilling reboot of “Wolf Man” featuring Julia Garner is now accessible for viewing in the UK, having been released in the U.S. earlier this movie season!
Last month’s film tells a story about a man trying to safeguard his loved ones from a terrifying werewolf, eventually finding himself bitten and turned into one as well.
In case you didn’t catch “Wolf Man” at the movies, you have the opportunity to either purchase or rent it now on platforms like Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Microsoft Store, and various other digital vendors in the UK.
In the United States, the digital version of “Wolf Man” became accessible this month. You can purchase or rent it through Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, and additional platforms.
For those who like having a tangible version, you too have the option to pre-order “Wolf Man” on DVD, Blu-ray, or 4K Ultra HD in the United Kingdom.
Universal has yet to confirm a release date for the physical home release.
The film “Wolf Man” initially garnered mostly positive feedback, but later reviews were more mixed following its premiere, earning a rating of 52% freshness on Rotten Tomatoes.
According to our review in Digital Spy with a rating of three stars, we mentioned: “Although you may find yourself hoping for Wolf Man to have more intensity, it’ll make you yearn for Leigh Whannell to animate another Universal Monster creature.
In the previous month, Garner disclosed some insights to DS regarding the movie, focusing on how the evolution of the lead character Blake (played by Christopher Abbott), from human to a werewolf, influences her role as Charlotte.
At the very beginning, I shared with Leigh my interpretation that the story seemed to encompass something akin to seven phases of grief over the course of a single evening. In essence, I hoped that the viewers would experience a similar emotional journey, as if they were enduring those seven stages of grief in just one night.
As a gamer, it feels akin to losing a cherished video game character – unexpected, uncontrollable, and deeply impactful. I can’t help but feel the sting of this loss just as profoundly.
Director Whannell stated: “The narrative revolves around change; it’s also a portrayal of a affliction, which led me to consider how such circumstances manifest in everyday reality.
Wolf Man is available to buy or rent from Prime Video, iTunes, Microsoft Store and more in the UK.
