Good Morning Britain’s Alex Beresford welcomes daughter

In this morning’s broadcast, Alex Beresford from Good Morning Britain shared the news that his wife, Imogen McKay, welcomed a baby girl.

The television host announced on Instagram that his family has expanded a tad, welcoming a new member. He posted images showing him and his partner, Imogen, holding the newborn, along with a snapshot of the baby sleeping peacefully.

“After what felt like forever, she’s finally here!” he wrote in the caption.

Camille Beresford safely joined us this week and has charmed us instantly. She’s clear about her preferences, and even our brief moments apart, when the human milk machine momentarily shuts off, are cause for excitement for us both.

Imogen Beresford is simply outstanding and excelling in her role as a mother. She seems as natural to this as a duck to water, and I am delighted in my new position as the Chief Nappy Officer. To answer your unspoken question, yes, I’m taking care of the babies while Cruz has assumed his protective older brother role.

I’m absolutely thrilled to express my heartfelt gratitude for the extraordinary team of midwives and physicians at Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital. Particularly, I want to single out Faisa, whose calm and caring demeanor was instrumental in delivering our precious baby so beautifully!

I must say, the National Health Service (NHS) has been truly exceptional! For the past nine months, I’ve witnessed staff from various corners of the globe consistently going beyond what’s expected. My gratitude to you for ensuring my mother and newborn remained safe is immeasurable. xxxx

many of Alex’s well-known acquaintances and colleagues sent congratulatory messages, including Ben Shephard who wrote: “Adorable new baby! I can’t wait to walk with her. Sending love to the entire family.

“Awww…. Congratulations and may your sleepless nights be productive!” commented Trisha Goddard.

Laura Tobin exclaimed, “So beautiful!”, followed by: “Congratulations!”, and Paul C Brunson from the show “Married at First Sight” responded with numerous heart emojis.

In a past relationship with Natalia Natkaniec, Alex has a son named Cruz. At his wedding to Imogen in 2022, young Cruz acted as the ring bearer.
