
In December, the action-packed tactical team-based FPS, “Rainbow Six Siege,” will be commemorating its ten-year anniversary. However, before reaching this milestone, Ubisoft has big plans for the game’s future, aiming to establish a foundation for the next decade of strategic and distinctive gameplay. Known as “Rainbow Six Siege X,” this new phase marks a fresh start for the title, heralding a “new era.
In a recent Ubisoft blog post, it’s revealed that the R6 team has been putting in countless hours to create the most significant change ever in the game, aiming to solidify Rainbow Six Siege’s dominance among tactical first-person shooters. This is being achieved by introducing innovative play styles, enhancing tactical depth, polishing gameplay mechanics, and implementing substantial improvements across the board.
Prior to the launch of “Rainbow Six Siege X”, Ubisoft is organizing an event in Atlanta, Georgia on March 13th at 10am PDT/1pm EDT/5pm GMT/6pm CET. This event will stream live and provide a glimpse into all the updates that will come with Siege X at some point.
During this period, the Prep Phase of Operation is approaching in Rainbow Six Siege, introducing a fresh Operator named Rauora and her Deployable Omnilink Mesh launcher, providing a “bulletproof intelligent cover system” for doorways, expected to appear in March.
