Hugh Grant and Anna Eberstein Shine at BAFTA Afterparty: A Glamorous Night Unveiled!

Hugh Grant and his wife, Anna Elisabet Eberstein, appeared more joyful than ever while attending the British Vogue and GQ BAFTA afterparty held in London on Sunday.

At the illustrious event held at The Royal Festival Hall, I, a dedicated follower, proudly walked alongside my partner, a captivating figure at 64, and our equally radiant TV producer wife, only 42. Together, we turned heads as a glamorous duo.

Hugh looked handsome in a black tux with a classic white button up shirt and smart black shoes.

Meanwhile Anna put on a leggy display in a sparkling black mini dress adorned with silver sequins.

She put on black stockings, paired them with black court shoes, and gathered her brown hair elegantly into an updo.

The pair appeared in great spirits as they beamed for cameras before entering the glamorous event.

Previously, under the evening’s glow, the joyful pair sparkled with enthusiasm on the BAFTA red carpet, radiating pure affection for each other.

The BAFTA event turned out to be quite lively that evening, culminating in an illustrious post-event gathering graced by Rosie, Demi Moore, and Anna Kendrick.

At the 2025 BAFTA Awards, Mikey Madison and Adrien Brody won the prestigious titles of Best Actress and Best Actor respectively. Meanwhile, Conclave and The Brutalist shared the spotlight by each taking home four awards.

In the roles that made them shining stars in The Brutalist and Anora, a 51-year-old actor named Adrien and a 25-year-old actress known as Mikey, graciously received their accolades while standing on stage.

As a connoisseur of all things related to lifestyle and entertainment, I found myself captivated by the grand return of the prestigious British Film event. This time around, our beloved David Tennant graced the stage as the charismatic host, while a talented roster of guest presenters were on hand to distribute awards throughout the evening’s celebrations. It was an unforgettable night in the world of film!

Against a formidable lineup of 10 candidates, the film “Conclave” emerged victorious in the distinctive category of Outstanding British Film at the BAFTAs. This triumph adds to their existing two awards in the categories of Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Editing.

In a stunning sweep, “The Brutalist” garnered four prestigious accolades: Adrien was recognized as Best Actor, Brady Corbet won the highly coveted Director award for his commendable work, we also have the recognition for Best Cinematography, and lastly, an honor for Best Original Score.

In his touching statement, Adrien expressed a heartfelt homage to England, confessing that it has been feeling remarkably like home to him recently.

He expressed his sincere gratitude: “I’m deeply appreciative. I wish to express my heartfelt thanks to the British people for accepting me and valuing my artistic pursuits. It means a great deal to me as England has begun to feel like home recently. I will hold these moments dear, thank you all.

Brady expressed his feelings by saying, “I’m deeply moved and extremely thankful; the title of ‘best director’ doesn’t exist – it’s all just a fun jest.

As an overjoyed admirer putting pen to paper, let me express my feelings upon receiving the BAFTA for Outstanding British Film for Conclave: It’s beyond words, an incredible honor, even though I’m not one of you natives! The warmth and acceptance I feel here is truly heartening.

In these challenging times when democracy faces a crisis, it’s disheartening to see institutions that once united us being used to divide us instead. Yet, moments like this remind me why I love the art of filmmaking – it has the power to bring people together and foster understanding.

Occasionally, it can be challenging to maintain hopefulness in such circumstances. However, that’s precisely why we create films, and that’s exactly why we crafted this film.

Apart from Mikey winning the Best Actress award, the independent film Anora, which triumphed over blockbusters at the Critics Choice Awards last week, also received recognition for its exceptional casting with the Best Casting award.

In a heartfelt, emotionally charged acceptance speech for her role as Emilia Perez in the Mexican film, an overjoyed Zoe Saldana expressed her gratitude using colorful language.

As an attentive admirer, I found myself echoing exasperation similar to a four-time awards winner, abruptly whisked away from the camera lens, as the swift ticking of the countdown caused me to exclaim, “Oh, my goodness! Oh, my goodness! Oh, my goodness!

Zoe was overwhelmed with emotion as she received the award, acknowledging that it felt incredibly affirming and a great privilege, having been advised earlier by dialect coaches that her British accent wouldn’t succeed.

Listing off her thank yous, Zoe said: ‘Oh my god I’m getting a countdown. F*** f*** f***!’

Despite some divided opinions due to its plot, the Mexican film featuring Selena Gomez among its stars, has garnered an impressive 11 nominations.

41-year-old Jesse Eisenberg graciously accepted the Best Supporting Actor award that his fellow actor, Kieran Culkin, presented to him for his leading part in “A Real Pain.

Taking hold of Kieran’s trophy, having acknowledged that it was his fifth award won for him this season, Jesse playfully remarked, “This just solidifies what I’ve long suspected… our lives are quite alike, but his has a 27% higher quality than mine.

In a more straightforward manner, we can say: Jesse, both the director and lead actor in “A Real Pain”, won the Best Original Screenplay award and delivered a heartfelt speech on stage.

Winning the runner-up award for the film, he acknowledged, “Since I didn’t believe I would win, I didn’t write anything. I want to share this recognition with my wife who couldn’t attend as she didn’t expect me to win.

Warwick Davis, while accepting his BAFTA Fellowship, tugged at people’s emotions as he delivered a heartfelt eulogy for his deceased wife, Samantha David, who passed away the previous year.

He expressed: “This might be the greatest event in my life… and I’ve been part of Star Wars! Tonight, I want to thank my mom; she’s the one who made this moment possible.

Primarily, I’d like to express my deepest gratitude to my beloved wife, Sammy, who passed away nearly a year ago. Throughout her life, she stood by me unwaveringly in my career pursuits. Although life has been challenging for me lately, the love and support from our incredible children have made it bearable.

Orlando Bloom and Vanesa Kirby graced the stage to present Jesse’s BAFTA award at the ceremony.

In the award ceremony, Demi Moore’s film, titled “The Substance,” was honored with the Best Makeup and Hair award. Meanwhile, the upcoming movie “Dune: Part Two” received a double recognition; it was awarded both Best Sound and Best Visual Effects.

Wallace and Gromit were honored with not just one, but two BAFTA awards that night. They won both the category of Best Animation and Best Children’s and Family Film.

In simpler terms, Director and Writer Rich Peppiatt of Kneecap was awarded the Outstanding Debut trophy. In a heartfelt speech, he acknowledged everyone bravely battling their challenges, expressing his gratitude.

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but share my excitement as Jon M. Chu’s masterpiece, Wicked, snatched the Best Production Design award at this year’s BAFTA ceremony – an unexpected yet well-deserved first win of the night. The evening unfolded with even more accolades coming our way, as we were also honored with the Best Costume Design award for our blockbuster movie.
