Michelle Pfeiffer and David E. Kelley Celebrate 31 Years of Love This Valentine’s Day!

On Sunday, Michelle Pfeiffer shared a glimpse of her Valentine’s Day weekend with her 3.4 million Instagram followers.

The 66-year-old actress celebrated the holiday with her longtime love, husband David E. Kelley, 68.

The ageless, radiantly blonde woman shared just one picture displaying her and David, both sporting stylish dark shades, against a backdrop of tranquil water.

She composed a clear, uncomplicated title saying, ‘Valentine’s Weekend’ followed by a heart symbol.

In a radiant display, both partners flaunted sun-kissed, glowing complexions. Notably, the actress from Scarface gathered her golden tresses, highlighting intricate hoop earrings.

The couple marked their 31st wedding anniversary on November 13.

The duo were introduced by Pfeiffer’s best friend, who set them up on a blind date in 1993.

During her appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in 2022, Michelle shared that she had felt a bit nervous prior to the encounter.

She admitted that she was somewhat anxious because she had experienced some disappointing blind dates in the past and had vowed to avoid them. However, her friend persuaded her, saying, “Come on, just one last time, meet this man, David Kelley,” to which she agreed.

In the continuation of the story, she mentioned, “I suggested having a bowling gathering. Prior to that, we had dinner together, and that’s where things seemed somewhat uncomfortable. As for the bowling event itself, it went alright.

Pfeiffer shared with Fallon and the audience that, on that occasion, her future spouse was seated opposite her sister DeDee Pfeiffer, while she herself was seated opposite his closest friend.

She mentioned that my brother and her were having a conversation, as she’s quite charismatic and adept in social situations. In contrast, I find those interactions challenging, and the same goes for him – he’s somewhat reserved too.

Pfeiffer expressed to her closest confidante, “It seems like I ought to arrange a date between DeDee and him. They appear to be getting along quite well.

Pfeiffer stated, “She warned him sternly, ‘You had better not. If you do, I’ll take matters into my own hands. The man you are about to marry is sitting right opposite me.’

In a surprising turn, she mentioned that we barely exchanged any words at all. I can’t fathom her reasoning, but it seemed our interaction wasn’t promising from the outset, she concluded.

Before meeting Kelley, Pfeiffer was already in the process of adopting a child, and eventually, they both brought up Claudia Rose as their family.

The couple went on to welcome a son named John Henry, 30, in 1994. 

Currently, Michelle serves as both the founder and chief executive officer of a line of fragrances called Henry Rose, affectionately named after her children.
