One of these went to the Best Sound category, and another recognition was for the outstanding achievement in Best Visual Effects.

During the event, Wallace and Gromit were awarded not just one but two British Academy Film Awards. They received honors in the categories of Best Animation and Best Film in the Children’s and Family category.

In a more casual and straightforward manner, independent filmmaker and screenwriter Rich Peppiatt was awarded the “Outstanding Debut” accolade. He dedicated his win with a heartfelt message to all those individuals who are persevering in their own battles.

In a predictable turn of events, Jon M. Chu’s Wicked clinched the award for Best Production Design, marking its initial BAFTA win of the night. As the evening progressed, the popular film bagged another accolade, this time for Best Costume Design.
