Fans of Kylie Jenner playfully comment that she seems to have left Calabasas, as David Tennant engaged with her and her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet at the glitzy BAFTA event on Sunday evening.

At the British awards ceremony held at the Royal Festival Hall, the ex-Doctor Who actor playfully jabbed at the affectionate pair.

David playfully implied that the actor portraying Wonka had been the runner-up in the Timothée Chalamet look-alike contest, a competition he himself attended in October.

David stated: ‘Tonight, we have the honor of hosting the runner-up from New York’s recent Timothée Chalamet contest. Welcome to the BAFTAs! You certainly look familiar, don’t you? I wonder if there’s a resemblance. By any chance, how long will you be in London?’

Timothée replied: ‘Three days’.

David playfully remarked: “Your voice isn’t quite perfected yet, but your attention to detail is impressive, especially since you resemble Kylie Jenner.

Enthusiasts promptly flocked to what was once called Twitter, expressing excitement by stating they were “going crazy” upon witnessing Kylie engaging with David. It was clear to many that this duo was certainly not anticipated on their 2025 surprise pairings list.

I, as a die-hard fan, can hardly contain my excitement! Last night, Kylie Jenner got to witness The Proclaimers and Take That in one unforgettable event. To top it off, David Tennant himself acknowledged her likeness to her very face, leaving me absolutely thrilled!

I never imagined seeing David Tennant and Kylie Jenner together, but it turns out they were both at the BAFTAs. Instead, Timothée Chalamet and a woman who resembles Kylie Jenner attended the event.

I’m finding it hard to believe that Kylie Jenner is witnessing Wallace & Gromit earn numerous awards (deservedly so), along with Take That performing. It sounds quite unexpected!

In October, Timothee caused a stir at a surprise appearance during a look-alike competition in New York, with screams from excited fans echoing afterward.

Accompanied by security personnel, the actor struck poses for pictures alongside his hair-curled lookalikes, several of whom donned costumes based on his characters, such as Willy Wonka and Paul Atreides from Dune.

Occasionally, enthusiastic spectators mistakenly focused their admiration on people who resembled Chalamet, believing them to be the genuine article.

As a passionate devotee, I simply couldn’t miss the electrifying spectacle that Anthony Po, the YouTube sensation, had orchestrated. The buzzing hype surrounding this unique event was everywhere in New York, with flyers announcing it as one of several doppelganger competitions he was hosting.

Excitedly, I couldn’t contain my enthusiasm as the news of a competition swept through social media. The prospect of winning $50 had me hitting the RSVP button in record time, joining thousands of others who shared my eagerness.

However, just moments into the contest, prior to the actor’s appearance, the authorities asked everyone to leave Washington Square Park.

Event organizers faced a penalty of $500 due to hosting an unauthorized costume competition, and at least one individual dressed similarly was arrested, causing uproar among the audience who shouted, “Release him!

Witnesses and competitors told DailyMail.com the scenes that unfolded were ‘insane’.  

33-year-old bystander Megan Hattie Stahl described the scene as incredibly amusing, almost like a show. She went on to explain that the people recording the incident and those responding to the police added an additional level of entertainment. In her words, it was all just bizarre and absurd.
