Rylan Clark Forced to Pull Out of Radio 2 Show Due to Health Concern
On Saturday, the role usually filled by Rylan Clark on BBC Radio 2 was temporarily taken over by a previous contestant from Strictly Come Dancing, as Rylan had to step back from his duties because of some health issues.
On the weekend, the beloved television personality, aged 36, came down with a cold that prevented him from attending his Saturday program due to illness.
And to fill in for the star was Richie Anderson who was on standby with Sally Boazman.
Richie said on air: ‘The reason I’m in is because Rylan’s got the sniffles, apparently.
‘However, our listeners disagree because he’s been spotted a lot out and about this week.’
Some listeners did not believe Rylan as they joked he was enjoying a holiday in Cornwall.
In a message sent from St Ives, Cornwall, it was written by Kate that she spotted Rylan on a naturist beach in Cornwall. It seems his size isn’t limited to just his teeth; he also possesses rather oversized feet.
Simultaneously, another person reported spotting him in Conwy, attempting to clean cars stuck at traffic signals.
On Instagram, the reel was posted, and Rylan commented, “It’s a lie,” while expressing gratitude towards his fans for their well-wishes.
Instead, you could say: “It’s high time Radio 2 granted Ritchie his very own program. He’s simply fantastic! I believe that a weekend morning slot or a weekday afternoon slot would be perfect for him.
Today’s performance was simply outstanding, Ritchie! Great job! Wish we could share breakfast together again. Sally was fantastic as usual. Let’s plan to meet up next week at the same time?

2022 star Richie made an announcement in December that he was leaving the morning program, which coincided with Zoe Ball’s earlier decision to also step down.
