On Valentine’s Day, Davide Sanclimenti subtly hinted again at his former partner Ekin-Su Culculoglu by posting a sweet message about his new love interest.

In 2022, the popular television personality clinched the title of Love Island alongside Ekin-Su, both being 30 years old at the time. However, they decided to end their relationship in 2023.

Currently, Ekin is participating in the All-Star edition of the show she initially gained fame from, and has entered into a fresh romance with Curtis Pritchard.

Currently, it’s clear that Davide has disclosed his discovery of ‘genuine affection’ and is ‘recovering’ following the announcement of his relationship with the beautiful American woman, Iris, a few weeks ago.

On Saturday, he posted a Valentine’s Day tribute for his new partner on Instagram, seemingly implying a subtle criticism towards Ekin-Su with the statement “true love doesn’t tear you apart.

On Valentine’s Day, I’d like to express my happiness to the most romantic lady I’ve come across. Being with you taught me about ‘monthly anniversaries’, which we now celebrate regularly.

‘You are incredibly kind and authentic – it’s a pleasure being around you. Our initial meeting wasn’t just as friends, but since our first “casual get-together,” we’ve become inseparable. It added to the charm that you didn’t recognize me at first.’

‘You love deeply because you’ve been through a lot, and that made me want to protect you.’

He went on saying: “I appreciate your faith in me, your role in bringing out the best versions of me, and for being a motivator that encourages my growth.

True love is marvelous, as it strengthens rather than breaks us apart. I firmly believe that our paths crossed for a purpose, and I’m grateful for the healing journey we’ve embarked on together. We don’t need to stay together—we continually choose one another each day. To us, this is our choice.

He added a series of beautiful photos of him and his new partner, along with several adoring vacation shots.

David too posted a photo featuring the crypto investor and the mom-influencer surrounded by an extravagant arrangement of blooms, along with a romantic setup on their bed adorned with rose petals, a cuddly toy, and a festive balloon for Valentine’s Day.

In response to being mentioned in the post, Iris left a comment saying: “That must be the piece you were working on from your balcony, imitating me. Keep on grinning when you feel joyful. When you are content, so am I. ❤️ Love You Too.

Previously, Davide made another comment about his ex in a recent post, following a fan’s remark: “Keep your head up as she’s seen on TV kissing numerous young boys.

He responded, “I certainly hope that she does [smiling face emojis]. That way, she’ll finally cease bothering me and discussing me forever.

Last month, Ekin-Su publicly discussed her relationship with Davide for the initial time following their entry into the Love Island: All Stars villa.

In a heartfelt conversation with Olivia Hawkins, I opened up about my past relationship with an ex and the reasons behind my decision to cultivate a romance with him rather than Jay Younger in the villa. It was a personal choice that holds significant meaning for me.

In January 2024, Ekin-Su and Davide parted ways, approximately two years following their victory on Love Island. At the separation, she alleged that he had been untrue to her.

Olivia expressed reservations about her mixed emotions towards Marcel Somerville and Luca Bish, which prompted Ekin-Su to offer insights from her personal experiences.

‘Is it possible to like two people at the same time?’ Olivia asked.

While at All Stars, Ekin-Su was questioned by fellow resident Gabby Allen about her reaction if Davide joined the villa.

Ekin-Su responded briefly, saying, “I don’t have anything to say,” followed by expressing indifference about his post-split activities, which were to occur in January 2024.

She stated that what was previously is behind her, and now finds herself in a fresh phase. The past wasn’t successful for her, but she’s present.

Ekin claims that Davide’s unfaithfulness was the cause of their breakup, and she expressed remorse over joining Celebrity Big Brother so quickly following their separation.

Speaking candidly, I entered the show hoping to mend my heart following the challenges I faced with Davide. However, it seems I ended up needing more healing. My defenses were firmly in place throughout.

As a conscientious individual, I acknowledge my mistake in selecting an unsuitable path for my career. The discernible change in me didn’t go unnoticed, and I can empathize with those who questioned the authenticity of my actions.

I couldn’t bring myself to accept rumors about Davide, but it seemed like everyone around me kept insisting I was being deceived in our relationship.

I found solace in company and couldn’t imagine being apart from Ekin-Su. I was unsure what her identity would be without my presence.

On Valentine’s Day, as Davide expressed his enthusiasm for his newfound love, Ekin-Su solidified her relationship with Curtis within the villa.

As a devoted admirer, I couldn’t help but express my sentiments: The affection I harbor for you is indescribable. In my heart, I have decided that today, on the romantic occasion of Valentine’s Day, I would like to take this opportunity to ask you to be my girlfriend right here and now.

He went on to say, “You’re the one I see as my girlfriend. Would you become my girlfriend?” To this question, Ekin-Su responded affirmatively by giving him a kiss.
