Lady Gaga Stuns in Edgy Black Gown at SNL50 Concert Pre-Party

On a Friday evening in New York City, Lady Gaga made sure everyone noticed her grand entrance as she attended the 50th anniversary celebration of SNL at Radio City Music Hall.

On the upcoming three-hour performance telecast airing this coming Sunday, February 16, on both NBC and Peacock, the renowned 38-year-old artist chose a bold mermaid-inspired dress adorned with silver fastenings along the front to make an unforgettable impression.

She matched her look to her new, jet-black hair color that suited her goth-chic style.

The singer opted for a simple look, with only a few items, but she wore a distinctive pair of black sunglasses that concealed her eyes.

50th Anniversary Special of SNL (SNL50: The Homecoming Concert) boasts an impressive array of performers such as Miley Cyrus, Bad Bunny, The Roots, Arcade Fire, Backstreet Boys, Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Chris Martin, David Byrne, and numerous others.

The upcoming concert event will be emceed by Jimmy Fallon, with Lorne Michaels and Mark Ronson serving as its creative producers.

She was recently spotted again, having made an appearance on the widely-watched YouTube chat program, Hot Ones, just a few days ago.

While conversing with host Sean Evans, the 14-time Grammy Award-winning singer, aged 38, shared insights on why she was moments away from abandoning her musical aspirations, years before ascending to global stardom, marked by millions of album sales and sold-out tours.

When questioned about the time she nearly abandoned her artistic career, the singer acknowledged that it was a particularly profound query during a period of high stress or anxiety.

She shared that she deeply felt the absence of the community she knew in New York, and it proved quite challenging for her, as she reflected upon her past experiences of performing at venues such as The Slipper Room in Manhattan.

Regarding the role from ‘The Joker: Mad Love,’ he added, ‘There were moments when I thought about leaving, but I can guarantee you that I’d never abandon it.’

The actress declared that, indeed, she had been tested, but she took pride in her resilience for never giving up.

As for myself, clearly I’m continuing with this endeavor, which indicates my unwavering desire to see it through, especially considering that my eagerly anticipated seventh album, Mayhem, is due for release on March 7th.

In a recent conversation, I proudly admitted that I penned my smash hit single “Born This Way” in merely ten swift and inspiring minutes.

Or, you could say:

In an interview, I shared the story behind my popular song “Born This Way,” revealing it was written in a quick and powerful 10-minute session.

She excitedly shared that she often composes her songs, like ‘Born This Way’ among others, in just a short span of ten minutes! It’s a swift process for her – she hears the melody rapidly and then simply follows its lead.

The artist behind “Poker Face” recalled strategies she employed in her early career to secure gigs, one of which involved feigning as her own manager.

She reminisced with a soft smile about those days when she’d devote the entire day to seeking performances, she recalled. She’d approach one door after another, humbly asking, “May I perform here, please?” Sometimes, she’d even call and impersonate her manager, boasting about how popular she was at the moment. Occasionally, she’d even put on an accent.

Earlier this month, she dropped her single, Abracadabra, along with an accompanying music video.

The tune you’re listening to is slated for her upcoming album titled “Mayhem,” where the tracks “Disease” and “Die With a Smile” can also be found.

In a recent press statement, the singer admitted that the new album initially came about as a means for them to confront their apprehension towards revisiting the pop music beloved by their original fanbase.

When discussing her upcoming album with Vogue, Gaga enthusiastically shared: “I’ve always had a passion for producing, and an essential aspect of creating my seventh studio album was merging live instruments with digital programming.

The album defies conventional musical genres; it’s a fusion of various styles, offering a profound insight into my creative process as a producer and my unique approach to music.

Additionally, she mentioned that the new album carries a ‘more somber pop’ tone, which is reminiscent of her renowned 2009 release, “The Fame Monster.

However, fans need not be worried that Gaga is going too somber with her sound.

She emphasized that the record isn’t overly somber; instead, it’s quite lively, ideal for parties, clubs, or even casual home entertainment. It’s meant to help you forget your troubles and simply enjoy yourself, whether you’re at home or out and about.

Last month, I was thrilled to hear Gaga’s lead single “Disease” off her latest album, which has been receiving phenomenal accolades from music critics. They seem to agree that this track represents a remarkable homecoming for the star, harkening back to her original musical roots.

Regrettably, the praise didn’t translate into success on the charts as “Disease” made its debut at number 27 on the Hot 100 – marking her lowest chart position for a lead single in 16 years.

On the positive note, Lady Gaga is currently experiencing one of her largest hits in recent years due to her collaboration with Bruno Mars titled “Die With a Smile”.

The ballad has so far reached No. 2 on the Hot 100 and No. 1 on the Pop Airplay Chart.
