HoYoverse is preparing to launch the Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.1 update, named “Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne,” on February 26th, 2025. This update offers fresh maps and significant storyline advancements in the Amphoreus world, along with the introduction of new 5-star playable characters, namely Tribbie and Mydei.

New Chapter in the Flame-Chase Journey

To start, the heat is intensifying in the Flame-Chase Journey as we’ve managed to seize control of Nikador’s Coreflame. However, there’s still a lot of ground left to cover. Next, we find ourselves venturing into uncharted territory, specifically the “Grove of Enlightenment”, an ancient city-state devoted to Cerces, the Titan of Reason.

This location is a bustling center of wisdom, teeming with scholars delving deep into the mysteries of the Black Tide and Titans. However, there’s a twist – the Black Tide has taken over completely! Our task now is to save survivors, uncover buried secrets, and recover Cerces’ Coreflame before it falls into the wrong hands. Doesn’t that sound thrilling?

A significant aspect of this update involves the unveiling of the ancient city, formerly known as Janusopolis, now called the Abyss of Fate. By harnessing the power of Oronyx, we’ll delve into remnants of history and unearth hidden mysteries from the Era Chrysea. Additionally, for those with a keen interest in history, we’re providing more backstory on Tribbie, our latest 5-star character!

New Playable Characters in HSR Version 3.1

Tribbie

Tribbie is a top-tier Quantum Unit adhering to the Harmonious Path. Her equipment focuses on strengthening her team and delivering Sequential Assaults. Her abilities establish a unique zone where enemies suffer increased damage, with every enemy hit within that zone causing additional harm to the strongest foe. She functions as a substantial Damage Per Second (DPS) support, capable of swiftly altering the course of combat!

Mydei

Mydei is a five-star fictional character adhering to the Path of Destruction. He serves as the crown prince of Fortress Kremnos and boasts an extraordinary fighting style that revolves around his substantial health reserve. In a special mode, he unleashes powerful attacks on opponents, inflicting immense damage effortlessly. If you’re fond of tough, aggressive units, Mydei is certainly worth keeping an eye on!

If you haven’t already got Yunli and Huohuo in your collection, here’s some great news! These exceptional 5-star characters are coming back in the Version 3.1 warp event. So, seize this opportunity to strengthen your team with these sought-after characters!

Divergent Universe: New Season

In this upcoming version, combat scenes will introduce the Day and Night Mechanism, allowing the battlefield to transition between day and night. The Awooo Firm Event

This one appears incredibly exciting! We’ll assume the position of a manager for the Chimera Squad in Okhema, working to make them the most powerful team. The experience seems to blend elements of management and tactical strategy, offering a refreshing shift from typical gaming experiences.
