Sorry We’re Closed Brings Retro-Style Survival Horror to Xbox in March
Fashionable game developer and publisher Akupara Games have revealed that the quirky, neon-bathed PS1-style survival horror game titled “Sorry We’re Closed” will be available on consoles next month.
After debuting on PC in November (with an 83 Metacritic rating), the game Sorry We’re Closed is set to be ported to Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch in March. You will assume the role of the green-haired protagonist Michelle, tasked with managing the challenges posed by the malevolent Duchess.
Throughout your adventure, you’ll encounter instances where you must decide whether to comply with the Duchess or stand firm against their advances. However, be aware that your choices will come with significant repercussions. The game combines exploration using fixed cameras and arcade-style combat, allowing you to utilize Michelle’s ‘Third Eye’ ability to perceive between dimensions, uncover hidden mysteries, and solve puzzles.
In this game, you encounter various unusual characters and make decisions that lead to multiple possible outcomes, similar to role-playing games. For those who prefer old-school survival horror, you can opt for tank control style. Additionally, there are extra game modes such as New Game+ and Time Attack mode for an extended experience.
On March 6th, you’ll be able to play “Sorry We’re Closed” on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch!
