Married At First Sight Groom Hints at Cheating Act in Shock Video with Twin Brother

On the reality TV show “Married at First Sight,” groom Adrian Araouzou subtly suggested that his partner, Awhina Rutene, might have been unfaithful during their relationship on the program.

Over the weekend, the 30-year-old proprietor of an online retail business, who has been embroiled in a cheating scandal on Married at First Sight, subtly leveled an allegation during a TikTok video shared with his twin brother James.

Expressing his preferences, he stated that he was not fond of women who:

1. Follow over twenty men on social media.
2. Participate in reality television programs.
3. Have a first name beginning with the letter ‘A’.

The list seemed like a subtle criticism towards Awhina, aged 30, as she shares some characteristics that were considered undesirable, such as having male friends and participating in reality television shows.

Adrian seemed particularly concerned with women who followed men on their social media accounts.

‘What are you doing following more than 20 guys?’ he said in the clip. 

‘Your brother, your father, and that’s about it,’ his brother James said.  

‘No guy friends,’ Adrian agreed.

In addition to other disliked elements, the twins’ aversion extended to women who wear flat shoes, work as receptionists, have unpolished nails, or maintain their own list of dislikes.

Following Adrian’s disclosure about the cheating allegations involving him and Sierah Swepstone, which surfaced on MAFS.

On Wednesday evening, it seemed like the couple was subtly engaging in ‘foot-playing’ beneath the table during the dinner gathering, while their companions Billy Belcher and Awhina were seated nearby.

At age 31, Sierah was observed pursing her lips suggestively and mimicking kissing actions towards Adrian, who responded warmly by smiling and appreciating the affectionate gesture from the bride-to-be.

Audience members found themselves taken aback by a seemingly flirtatious interaction, an incident that could potentially cause turmoil within the group during their Sunday evening gathering dedicated to commitment.

To Daily Mail Australia, Adrian firmly denied rumors suggesting infidelity, asserting that there was absolutely no romantic involvement between him and Awhina.

If tapping feet under a busy dinner table counts as being dishonest, then more than half of the performers must be at fault. It’s preposterous, he stated.

If it’s considered cheating when you were with Jeff [Gobbles] and Rhi [Disljenkovic], as well as everyone else at the dinner party, since we were all in close proximity, then I too was participating in something that could be deemed as cheating.

Yet, the MAFS celebrity admitted to going out with Sierah, but emphasized that it was a group excursion which also involved grooms Tony and Billy.

He admitted he should have invited Awhina, but claimed they were fighting at the time

He clarified, “I can see clearly now why she felt angry. Looking back, I realize I should have also extended an invitation to her.

Adrian pointed out that Awhina often created obstacles or hurdles, making progress in their relationship challenging for both of them.

He mentioned that he was willing to give it a shot, but whenever he expressed this, she would add more points as to why it might not be feasible for us.

As a devoted follower, I recognized that Awhina faced deeper considerations as a mother, yet I felt I was unjustifiably receiving criticism for simply acknowledging the realistic hurdles in stepping into the role of a father figure.

He’s been referred to as a potential warning sign, but he has analyzed this matter more thoroughly than most. Instead of making an impulsive statement like, “I’m prepared to be a stepfather,” after only two weeks of getting to know someone, he chose to express caution.

In the ongoing melodrama of Married at First Sight, I, as an observer of human dynamics, am confident that audiences will eventually peel back the layers of artificially induced turmoil. Underneath it all, the authentic personalities of my fellow cast members will shine brightly for all to see.

Adrian remarked, “Billy’s behavior has been quite sly all along, but now it seems the real facts are emerging.

At every opportunity, he showed no regard for Sierah, and his behavior towards her was reprehensible. I won’t stand idly by while this continues.

Adrian spoke openly, criticizing Billy more strongly for fabricating circumstances to appear as if he were a victim.

It’s clear that we all recognized the red flags. From the very beginning, he put up a facade of being a good person, yet in private, his true character emerged. The fallout from this situation promises to be intense once everything has been brought to light at the reunion.

He also suggested that Billy’s treatment of Sierah was one of the worst dynamics in the experiment.

‘Sierah truly deserved more respect. His behavior, which involved manipulating her and causing her to question herself, was extremely harmful and poisonous,’ he commented.
