AI Fails to Recognise Dec in Hilarious Ant and Dec Experiment

However, an interesting twist emerged as the newly developed AI system, Grok (generated by X), proved less cooperative than expected. Instead, it managed to identify Ant McPartlin but failed utterly when faced with Declan Donnelly.

In a whirlwind of excitement, I couldn’t wait to tinker with the tech showcased in an Instagram video on Wednesday. As I played around, it dawned on me, almost instantaneously, that one of us had a definite edge when it came to the system’s affinity – it seemed to favor my partner over me!

‘Do you see the problem here?’ Ant said. ‘Who’s he? And who’s he? Who’s he?’

In 2023, the pair had already crossed paths with artificial intelligence, and they spent time attempting to understand it better by creating a sequence of amusing AI-generated visuals.

In an instant, the duo donned the attire of colorful figure skaters, sporting vibrant blue hair and dapper black bow ties.

The twosome swiftly changed into figure skating outfits with striking blue hair and fashionable black bow ties in a flash.

In another picture, they found themselves with creatures perched on their heads, all while being surrounded by swine and goats.

The TV pair drew some ideas from their stint as hosts of I’m A Celebrity, and they were pictured striking poses against a jungle setting while wearing outdoor clothing.

Afterward, the duo assumed the roles of tennis players, striking poses in front of a counterfeit tennis court that was equipped with rackets and polo shirts.

At the last shot, friends stood dressed in identical black shirts and white pants as they struck poses across the golf green.

Accompanying their Instagram post, they wrote: ‘So far, August has been quite idyllic with a touch of AI.’

In another place, Ant along with his wife, Anne-Marie, appeared to be a truly affectionate pair as they playfully swam in the ocean while enjoying their winter vacation in Barbados last month.

The couple playfully frolicked near the waterfront of the luxurious Fairmont Royal Pavilion resort on the west coast of a Caribbean isle, as Anthony struggled to resist touching his spouse.

A fellow hotel guest’s recording captured the couple having difficulty staying upright as the waves repeatedly hit them.
