Home and Away’s Matt Evans is enjoying a steamy summer romance.

On a recent Wednesday, during breaks from filming, the 29-year-old heartthrob of Summer Bay, Sophea Pennington‘s newest co-star, was seen increasing the temperature of their interactions.

On Sydney’s Palm Beach, the tanned actor and the stunning blonde seemed unable to resist touching one another while they reveled in the sunshine together.

The strong attraction between the genetically fortunate pair sparked vividly, as they affectionately interacted on the beach, relishing a well-deserved break.

Matt openly displayed his emotions, leaning in closer while closing his eyes, and fervently kissed the fresh face of the long-standing drama series’ latest actor.

The prolonged kiss sparked whispers among the spectators, and their affectionate actions continued beyond that moment.

Following a brief exchange, Sophea moved closer to give him another playful kiss, while softly touching his well-defined muscles on the back.

Without trying to outdo each other, Matt playfully blew a raspberry on his girlfriend’s well-toned stomach, causing Sophea to laugh joyfully and giggle with pleasure.

After their sizzling display, the new loves opted to cool off by taking a refreshing dip.

After entering the water, Sophea embraced Matt with her arms and looked deeply into his eyes, followed by another loving kiss.

On that particular day, Sophea radiated stunning elegance, sporting a coral bikini with a high-waisted design and ornamental accents at the top.

She pulled back her large, flowing hair into a functional braid and hid her eyes behind fashionable sunglasses.

Elsewhere, Matt was every inch the Aussie soap stud in a pair of dark patterned boardshorts.

Fan site Back to the Bay first reported that Sophea was joining the series late last year.

It’s speculated that she might portray a character named Lacey, and it seems like she could be among the fresh talents joining the cast.

The official Home and Away Spoilers and Gossip fan page has announced that Rob Mellyonarie and Adam Peck are set to appear on the show, taking on roles as the latest additions to the River Boys.

The ‘River Boys’ were first introduced to Summer Bay as a gang of criminals in 2011.

Their antics created havoc in Summer Bay and fuelled storylines over several seasons.

Additionally, fan-favorite Patrick O’Connor from Home and Away is planning an unexpected comeback to the soap opera following his on-screen departure along with girlfriend Sophie Dillman in the storyline.

The pair who played on-screen couple Dean and Ziggy left the high rating soap in March 2023.

According to what O’Connor told The Daily Telegraph, he and Dillman will be featured in the narrative of the River Boys.

He revealed that new scenes have already been filmed in far North Queensland.  

In his conversation with the outlet, O’Connor mentioned that there are moments reminiscent of River Boy adventures, as well as instances where they embark on journeys by car.

As a dedicated enthusiast, I can’t help but express my curiosity about how things are unfolding for Dean these days. With their little ones settled in sunny Queensland, I’m eagerly waiting to catch glimpses of their journey. That much, I am compelled to share.

Additionally, it’s rumored that Amanda Bishop will be introduced to the cast next year, who is famously recognized for her portrayal of Julia Gillard in the 2011 ABC comedy series titled “At Home with Julia.
