Nick and Vanessa Lachey Share Their Surprising Weekly Sex Schedule After 13 Years!

In the current edition of Brides magazine, Nick and his wife Vanessa Lachey share insights into their thirteen-year-long marriage.

As a die-hard fan, I’m absolutely thrilled to spill the beans on the intimate chat between the legendary 51-year-old pop sensation from 98 Degrees (once married to Jessica Simpson) and the charismatic 44-year-old ex-MTV VJ. They pulled back the curtains, giving us a peek into their love story and sharing secrets on how they manage to keep the spark alive!

Every week, Nick and Vanessa, who share both parental responsibilities towards their family of three kids and the hosting role on Love Is Blind, designate one day for intimacy and another for organizing matters.

Vanessa, originally known as Minnillo, commented on her husband’s response to scheduling intimate moments: “He basically asked, ‘Schedule a sex day?’ It seems odd when put like that, so instead we opted for: ‘Wednesday – hump day.’

She mentioned their approach of setting aside two different days for scheduling: “I prefer our moments of closeness and bonding not to be overshadowed by administrative tasks, but unfortunately, that’s the reality. I feel we’re entering a phase where we need a ‘relationship day’ and a ‘logistics day.’

In July 2011, they got married, having developed their romantic relationship while working together on the set of Nick’s “What’s Left of Me” music video in 2006.

The Lacheys also credit therapy with helping to keep their union strong.

The actress emphasized the significance of possessing an impartial viewpoint from a third-party’s standpoint, she added.

Apart from overseeing “Love Is Blind,” this duo is responsible for another Netflix dating series titled “The Ultimatum” as well.

As an ardent admirer putting it in my own words: “I can’t help but marvel at the fact that, despite being together for an incredible 19 years and officially wed for 13, the power couple I adore still encounter challenges. They bravely seek guidance from a therapist to navigate through their difficulties.

Pondering on the connection between their personal life and their productions, the dad of three expressed, ‘Being involved in these shows has always offered a kind of therapy for us. It allows us to examine our own marriage and relationship more closely as we journey through each new season together.’

Nick also emphasized his willingness to always work on their marriage.

The veteran from Hollywood expressed, ‘Any valuable thing requires effort. I believe this principle is essential to life, and it applies equally to marriage. It’s nothing to be ashamed of.’

Furthermore, the lovebirds agree: ‘There’s no perfect person — there’s just your person.’

They wholeheartedly adopt a healthy integration of work and personal life as they skillfully handle both their professional obligations and personal connections.

Regarding the tours, the previous singer expressed that it’s like a change from our usual routine.

Vanessa chuckled and said, “So, it looks like we’re heading to New York? We need to arrange for accommodation, sort out our hair and makeup, and book a flight too?

Nick agreed with the plan to leave Los Angeles, their current base. He suggested they might as well make a trip to New York.
