This summer offers a wealth of opportunities to witness a multitude of gifted performers, ranging from prominent events like Glastonbury, Parklife, to Scotland’s Terminal V festival.

Glastonbury

Where: Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset, South West England

When: 25 to 29 June

Headliners: Rod Stewart and Neil Young

Sir Rod, aged 79, is set to perform during the renowned “Legends” segment at the Sunday tea-time show, following in the path laid by Shania Twain who performed there in 2024.

During the month of June, a five-day long celebration is held, attracting approximately 200,000 music enthusiasts annually. On both November 14th and 17th, official Glastonbury tickets became available for purchase.

Parklife

Where: Manchester’s Heaton Park

When: 14 to 15 June

Headliners: 50 Cent, Charli XCX, Jorja Smith and Peggy Gou

In addition to the main acts, Rudimental, Pawsa, and Bicep are set to take the stage during the festival weekend. Tickets for Parklife 2025 have been put back up for sale after the initial batch, which went on sale in November, sold out.

CarFest

Where: Laverstoke Park Farm, Hampshire

When: 22 to 24 August 

Headliners: Rita Ora 

At the UK’s biggest charity event for families, Rita is set to captivate with her chart-topping hits like “Your Song” and “Let You Love Me,” delivering a high-octane performance that won’t be forgotten. This year’s stellar lineup boasts stars such as Travis, Tom Walker, Seasick Steve, and many others.

BST Hyde Park

Where: Hyde Park, London

When: From 28 June

Leading Acts: Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Zach Bryan, Noel Kahan, Hugh Jackman, Jeff Lynne’s ELO

Headliners: Sting, Stereophonics and Justin Timberlake

Apart from Faithless, The Script, Jess Glynne, and Example, the roster for this year’s Barclaycard presents The Isle of Wight Festival also includes some exciting acts. This festival, which started in 1968, has been a staple of the music scene, and last year witnessed Green Day, The Prodigy, and Pet Shop Boys performing at Seaclose Park.

Creamfields  

Where: Daresbury, Cheshire

When: 21 to 24 August 

Headliners: Anyma 

The upcoming festival hasn’t revealed its complete roster of performers just yet, but past editions have featured stars like Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia, and Tiësto gracing the stage. Tickets for a single day go as low as £84, and there are still camping options available too.

Forbidden Forest

Where: Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire 

When: 29 May to 1 June

Headliners: Camelphat, Fisher, Skepta and Patrick Topping

Gunnersbury Park

When: 8, 9, 16 of August 

Headliners: PAWSA In The Park, Martin Garrix and The Libertines

2025, I can hardly contain my excitement! Gunnersbury Park, the jewel of London’s green spaces, has secured its spot as one of my all-time favorite outdoor venues. And guess what? It’s set to host an incredible series of concerts next summer!

The lineup promises a pulsating blend of music genres that will have me dancing from dusk till dawn. I simply can’t wait to soak up the energy, the vibes, and the pure magic that only live music can bring! So, mark your calendars for August 2025 – Gunnersbury Park is calling my name!

2024 saw some exceptional, top-tier performances at the park from artists such as FISHER, Peggy Gou, KoRn, Tom Grennan, and PJ Harvey. These acts were all highly acclaimed, garnering 5-star ratings.

Terminal V Festival

Where: Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre

When: 19 and 20 April 

Headliners: Reinier Zonneveld, 999999999, Kettama and more 

Scotland’s groundbreaking subterranean event Terminal V returns, offering an enticing blend of global artists and local sensations. This festival ranks at #9 among all UK festivals in DJ Mag’s Best Festival survey and was recently awarded the title ‘Best Festival’ in their Best of British Awards.

Over the course of two days, Terminal V will bring together techno enthusiasts by offering more than 100 performers spread across six different stages.

Victorious Festival

Cheltenham Jazz Festival

Locations: Took place at various venues such as Cheltenham Town Hall, Parabola Arts Centre, and the Festival Village in Montpellier Gardens.

On The Beach

Where: Brighton

Headliners: Eric Prydz 

Eric, renowned for hits such as “Call on Me” and “Pjanoo,” has been announced as the upcoming headliner for On The Beach. Joining him will be Vintage Culture, Massano, Aaron Hibell, Amy Wiles, and others. Tickets are now available, with prices starting at £44.

All Points East

Where: Victoria Park, London 

When: 16, 22, 23 and 24 August

Headliners: Chase & Status, Barry Can’t Swim, Raye and The Maccabees

50 Cent, an American rap artist, is slated to headline the upcoming Scottish festival. Additionally, a variety of other talented acts such as Fontaines D.C., The Script, The Last Dinner Party, Inhaler, The Kooks, and numerous others will be performing at this event.
