In just five hours, it was Madonna who noticed the chatter about Sabrina Carpenter’s striking similarity to her on the March issue of Vogue, where she sported a platinum-blonde, wavy wig.

Many found that the 25-year-old pop star’s baby blue Dolce & Gabbana teddy bore a striking resemblance to the 66-year-old Queen of Pop’s famous Jean Paul Gaultier corset from her 1990 Blond Ambition World Tour.

In 1991, the same photographer, Steven Meisel, captured Madonna with a similar level of modesty on the cover of Italian Vogue as he did more recently.

The photographer, who is 70 years old, was responsible for capturing the cover of Madonna’s album “Like a Virgin” from 1984, as well as her book “Sex” in 1992, the campaign images for Versace’s Spring/Summer 1995 collection, Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2009 campaign, and her cover on Vanity Fair in 2009.

On Tuesday, Madonna posted heart-shaped eye emojis on Sabrina’s Instagram account, hinting, “Could this be a Valentine’s gift for me?

At that, Carpenter – who boasts 99.8M social media followers – responded: ‘@madonna It sure is!’
